Disappointing
The hotel was right in times Square with lots of stores, restaurants and theaters nearby. Bathroom had plenty of hot water to the point of scalding.
This hotel has only queen or king beds, not a good idea when I was traveling with my sister and we needed to share the bed. Our room was 309 next to a rooftop and the mechanical facilities for the building. All night long, we heard the clanging of the heating system and in the morning when the restaurant on the first floor started breakfast, I could smell the coffee and toast through the heater. There was about 18-24 inches between the bed and the walls. The bathroom was covered in penny tiles and made me dizzy along with the previous tenant's toothpaste on the wall. This hotel asked for a $150.00 security deposit upon check in and said the hold would be released in 5-7 days, so do use a debit card to cover it.

Pleasant
Location, friendly staff, clean room, drink coupon and discounts on food and beverages were all appreciated. Warm hospitality and free drinks in the room.
The room temp was either too hot or too cold. No cups in the room or room service available. The room space was very cramped. Bedframe is too big for the bed (had extra space all around it which just took up more space in the room).

Good
The location and the room inside. Bed was comfortable. Toilet & shower were nice. Internet was good & speedy. No much tv channels.
Check-in is 4pm!! There is No any hotel facilities at all. Expensive for hotel scale was not clear in hotel information. A small reception entrance, no restaurant, only small pop in ground floor. I stayed during November, Room 609 in last floor looks nice but the window was not fixed well or sealed, so at late night it was too cold, and smell of the kitchen hood is coming inside the room and the noise of the hood fan is disaster (Cold, Smell & Noise) I request to change the room next day. Stayed in room 209 at first floor but having opening to sky on the ceiling! At night, the pop music underneath was vibrating the room floor. I can hear all the music as i’m in the next room.
So, if decided to stay here with this cost and no facilities, then it’s recommended to avoid 1st floor (room 209) & 6th floor (room 609).

Wonderful
We were fabulously surprised that our room had a terrace!! The bathroom was so modern and roomy with a great vanity. We did not have breakfast or go into the bar, although it is great to know on another trip that these are available options. There was live music when we arrived but we had dinner reservations to hurry to. There were also little cubby shelves on each side of the bed. Super easy to put my rings, water and phone!
We had my adult nephew in the room with us and there was a nice pull out sofa. The issue was when it was open to sleep on, it completely blocked our path to the bathroom without climbing over. We did turn the sofa the other way for the night and that worked out just fine. Also, there's no full length mirror or even one where you can see a significant part of your outfit. There's a gorgeous (and gigantic) mirror on the wall above the sofa but it is hung so high you can barely see your face. Obviously I'm just being picky.

Poor
The location was close to Times Square, not far from the subway. The bed was comfortable. The room was mostly clean.
MAJOR construction was going on 24 hours a day. VERY loud, could not sleep. A lot of work was being done in the middle of the night, possibly to help with road traffic. Big crane outside my window. Other heavy equipment is making a very loud noise! I would not have stayed at this location if this had been disclosed. I'm seeking a partial refund; it was so bad. The hotel is in much need of updates. The TV had a big red line from top to bottom in the middle of the screen. There was no hand soap to wash your hands after using the restroom. Had to go into the shower and use the body wash on the wall. No coffee available in the room or lobby. However, the hotel furnished one couple per room per day with poor coffee at the bar. There was so much light from the LED signs across the street that it felt like daylight outside all night long. The curtain in the room was installed, allowing too much light into the room. It may sound like I'm being picky, but it was like sleeping with all the lights on in the room. It could have been a simple fix.

Location is unbeatable for sure, it is the best location I have been in Manhattan, walking distance to Time square and other places. There is even a metro entrance just crossing the block. Modern hotel and nice vibe, very friendly staff.
Rooms are small but I think it is expected for the area. If you don't spend a lot of time in the bedroom then all good!!

The room was quiet, especially for New York City. The staff was friendly and talked with me everytime I walked through. Overall, it was a great hotel room for a very busy weekend.

Location
I should have listened to the previous reviews.
My stay here was a massive disappointment, especially for the price.
The biggest issue: the hot water. To get even lukewarm water, I had to let the shower run for over 20 minutes. And then, I had less than 5 minutes of hot water before it turned ice cold. This is a basic necessity, not a luxury, and the hotel failed to provide it.
For nearly $800 for two nights, you expect a functional room at the very least. This hotel offers no amenities or services to justify the cost. It is severely overpriced and I cannot recommend it to anyone.

Fair
We were close to our place of destination and close to food placed.
The room was entirely too small..I did not receive the 15% deduction.in room rate and had difficulties adding another day. I was told that I needed to pay for another day(much higher fee) and that I wouldn't get the 15% deduction for three consecutive days. The hotel made me contact booking.com in order to change your name on the reservation it was just a whole mess with my family waiting there while it took me 30 minutes to make this change we're booking.com.

Location was excellent, was surprisingly quiet room considering being right by Times Square. Very reasonably priced and staff was very friendly.
Took like a solid 15 minutes of running the water to get any hot water. Could have used more plugs for charging and the hair dryer provided was really old and looked like it had melted at one point.

Location was great. Across the street from the subway. The bar on the main floor was also perfect and we got 4 drink tickets for our room.
The doors were a bit hard to open and made a loud noise.

Good location if you want to be near the action of Times Square and the Theater District.
Shower temperature. Water takes 15 minutes to warm and is inconsistent, goes from hot to cold quickly. Was told by the front desk they were working on it, but after 3 days it was not any better.

Location is great if you want to be in Time Square. Who does? But for work I needed to be so it was great. I had a room in the back of the hotel and it was quiet. That was a huge plus. You get free drinks coupons at check in. Clean room, firm bed. small room but All I needed.
If you get a room above the bar, (2nd floor) be prepared for loud nights. The kitchen smells come up though the HVACC so that can make you hungry at odd hours. The bar door also leads to the elevators so it's not the most secure hotel in the world, but was fine. Low water pressure.
