One of the Worse hotel in around time square , bad loby , small room it is hostel not hotel , too many staff are not working not clear , air condition too bad too nosy can not sleep until we turned off and cold

Close to Times Square
Waited over an hour to check in. Couldn’t get key cards so had to be let in by hotel employees. I was also taken back by the whole experience. Never again.

The only thing that is good is the location.
When we arrived before check in and asked to check our bags, the staff seemed overwhelmed and unfriendly, stating they didn’t have tags to properly tag our bags. We were instructed to leave them in an unsecured hallway. When we returned to check in, we were given a room no bigger than a shoebox, with a space heater. We thought it was weird but maybe an extra amenity in case we needed it. We changed and headed back out. Upon returning at 11:30 pm we quickly realized the thermostat was dead (flashing battery), and the room was 52 degrees. The window air conditioner was completely uninsulated and allowing cold air to blow directly into the room. We went to the front desk to complain and were told “the space heater is ours from the desk and they gave it to you in your room because we know the heat is broken.” “We don’t has batteries” and “I’ve reported this room to maintenance many times”. We tried to tough it out and removed the AC unit ourselves, but the window was still drafty and the space heater ineffective. The ac unit was not properly installed or secured, the windows opened all the way with no safeguards, and the hot water in the bathroom became scalding very quickly. At 12:30 am we begged for a new room, almost ready to check out and find a new hotel. We got a new room after some pressure, which was much better, but still drafty and problematic from a safety perspective (windows open completely, no fire escapes or guards, etc)

The rug in my room was dirty. The wallpaper was falling off and was stapled to the wall. The window was dirty and overlooked the heating and cooling system. The room was the size of a shoebox.

Location was good. Other amenities were subpar. Very very small room. No fan in the bathroom. The whole place got steamy, they cleaned every other day, and got towels on request not daily.

RECEPTION STAFF
LADY AT THE RESTAURANT WAS GOOD on the first day BUT THE SECOND DAY I HAD TO CATCH MY FLIGHT AT 9.00AM i went to restaurant and asked for the coffee around 5.30 AM the man in charge and his friends were drinking liquor showed his face and said they open at 8. AM only why did u come to the restaurant. the coffee for two of us was an offer free for our stay .... why not provide coffee maker and for us to serve for ourselves instead of begging before these people

Excellent location
The morning staff was not helpful at all. She sat at a table eating while we waited at the check-in desk. She didn't acknowledge us at all; didn't ask for a few minutes to finish eating, etc. We asked for a hair dryer and she never asked anyone to bring one up.

-Check-in time 4pm , No facilities in hotel, -No restaurant or even microwave to heat your food, -Heating system is not capable to handle the cold weather, -Avoid room 609 due to window is not sealed properly and cold air; noise and food cooking smell are allover the room. Requested to change this room.

Perfect space for sleeping and resting. Great location to Times Square, Broadway shows. Good street for Taxi pickups and drop offs. Great that they stow your bags before check in and after checkout so you’re not lugging your baggage around the city if you fly out in the evening. Thank you!
Nothing that isn’t within control of the building. Obviously it’d be nice to have natural lighting to wake up to in the morning but hotel is sandwiched between buildings so totally understandable. Everything was wonderful.
