Great location in Chinatown. Although hotel looks small from outside the rooms are quite big and well kept. No nonsense hotel staff was polite and helpful. Facilities are clean and location is superb, easy access to subway, Chinatown and Little Italy. Easy walk to lot of downtown areas like City Hall and Brooklyn Bridge. It was safe to walk around even late at night. The park across the street is lively during the day with locals playing bridge and pick up basketball games.

The staff were always welcoming and helpful. The room and sheets were very clean. We chose a room with the city view- worth it. We enjoyed walking around Chinatown and up Mulberry street. I’d be happy to stay here again. Recommended stay if the area appeals to you.
It didn’t seem like we could adjust room temperature. That’s ok, I expected that from the reviews. But just fyi in case that’s very important to you. I got a kind of hot one evening, nothing terrible.

Disappointing
Very nice stuff
First, the pictures of the room are misleading - the room is much smaller than shown in the photos.
The hotel is old and outdated, the pillows are lumpy, and there’s no coffee or tea in the room. There’s only one elevator for the entire hotel, and one day it broke down and we were stuck on the 10th floor.
In short - very low value for money.
I do not recommend.

Went for the San Gennaro festival location was great. Bed was comfortable. If you need complete quiet it’s probably not the place for you, I personally don’t mind the sounds of the city. I liked it here, clean, comfortable bed, hot shower what more do you need.
