The room was nice, and bigger than some rooms in NYC and tastefully designed. The bathroom was small, but had a good shower.
I asked for a quiet room, but sadly got a room on 44th street and it was extremely noisy well into the early morning (3am!). I rated the hotel low because of this, since I couldn't sleep. I guess that is a downfall of being so close to Times Square.

A nice, quiet hotel just a block away from the madness that is Times Square. Considering the location, I thought the room was a decent size and it was clean and nicely remodeled. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The bed was comfy and I even had an operating window! As others mentioned the AC was very loud, which would be my only complaint.
I wonder if anything can be done about the very loud A/C? I was able to open the window instead, but there was no screen. I recommend installing screens in the windows as a cheap improvement.

Clean, safe and Carlos was one of the nicest people we have ever encountered ay an NYC Hotel..EVER!!!
The room was crazy cramped you needed to be a Russian Gymnast to get out of the bed (that was comfy)!!!
The shower was a joke again based on size if you started the shower and got in the room got soaked!!

Location is perfect. As I want to see " Maybe Happy Ending " musical in Belasco Theatre, the hotel was just an opposite to the theatre. Also, Penn Station (NJT, Amtrack & Subway), Times Square, Empire State Building, MoMA, St. Patrick Cathedral, Rockefeller Center, Top of the Rock, 5th Avenue etc. All these are within 10~15 mins walking distance. Very convenient.
Room is small and there is a no desk / chair available. Since I need to use my laptop for 1~2 hours, and join to a short conference call, I leveraged the ironing board as a desk and sit on the bed. Other than that, all was good.
