The location is fantastic—just a quick 5-minute walk to Times Square, 15 minutes to Koreatown, and easy access to taxis. The rooms were surprisingly quiet for New York City thanks to thick walls, which kept out both street and hallway noise. Beds were very comfortable, and the fast elevators made getting around the hotel quick and convenient.
The room was smaller than expected for a two-bed double, and the bathroom was also tight with no ventilation. The shower water temperature was inconsistent, often switching between hot and cold. While the property has been renovated, maintenance issues were noticeable, including scratched walls (also a piece of gum was stuck to the wall), stained tubs, and water damage on the ceiling. The hotel also lacked amenities such as a bar or rooftop, which would have made the stay more enjoyable.

Excellent location, easy to get around. Front desk staff are nice and kind, they allowed us to check in earlier when available. Room and bathroom were very clean. I was really happy stay in Aurora for my first visit in New York. Will definitely come back.

The location was fantastic, just a few steps away from Times Square. Found a lot of major attractions within a 20 minute walk. Room was spacious for New York and had great A/C.
Having a street facing room meant a lot of noise even through the night which you will find with most hotels in NYC so can’t be helped.

The location was great, only minutes from Times Square, Rockefeller Centre, etc.
Minor things (Elevator doors do not open smoothly; our room door needed a little extra push to open; Needed to give the shower 5 minutes or more to heat up) overall a great experience though!

Like everyone says the location is fantastic. It’s right in the heart of the theater district which was the main focus this trip. It is directly across from the Belasco theater. I could watch stage footing from my window. Still it was surprisingly quiet and I was only on the sixth floor. I think there are like 18 floors. Also, the rooms are extremely small. My room, which I think was a superior queen was L shaped with the bed put into one of three L. The sides of the were so narrow that there was no room to put a nightstand on either side of the bed. To get into the bed one had to sit on the end and then scoot yourself back. A little irritating. Also be aware that there is only one USB court in the room. There are many normal outlets so bring adapters. I also find myself looking for a clock. There wasn’t one. It would’ve been nice to just look up and see the time instead of grabbing my phone. Big TV with good selection of cable channels also only one drawer. I was here for three nights, so what appreciate it more drawer space let me. There was also an nespresso machine which I never could figure out how to work. Room was very clean, and the bathroom was reasonably sized and also very clean. The floors were uncarpeted , looked like wood but felt like tile cold and very hard. The bed was extremely comfortable, and there was no sound bleeding in from other rooms. Room temp very easy to adjust. I did not find a/c unit to be noisy. Overall, I’s say the hotel felt like a budget hotel and looked much more than it was on web site but I wasn’t there often and was comfortable when I was despite the size. I should also say that the breakfast at the neighboring restaurant the Long Room was excellent. I was also given complementary beverage tickets to this restaurant when I checked in staff at both the restaurant and in the hotel were terrific, friendly and super helpful. I’d stay again.
No nightstand. Hard to get into bed.No clock. Only one drawer.
