Had a 10th floor room away from the elevator - very quiet
We had to depart a day early due to looming blizzard. No discount was offered. I understand their policy, but under the circumstances some credit would have been appreciated. I'd still go back.

Location is amazing (close to
Restaurants, times square, theaters, subway stations, etc) and very comfortable beds. Rooms are minimalist and “cozy” but size is expected for Manhattan. You’re paying for somewhere to sleep and location.
The shower head was not adjustable and water pressure was not great. Everything else was great.

It is in the heart of Times Square.
The treadmills in the gym needed a code to operate. Used the bike instead.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Aura Hotel, and I would highly recommend it to travelers. It is a lovely alternative to the big chain hotels and is right in the heart of the theatre district with close proximity to some excellent restaurants. The complimentary drinks at the bar next store were a nice touch, the room was spacious and the bed was comfortable.
The shower was a little tricky. The view was of a brick wall, but it's NY, so that was sort of expected.

A nice, quiet hotel just a block away from the madness that is Times Square. Considering the location, I thought the room was a decent size and it was clean and nicely remodeled. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The bed was comfy and I even had an operating window! As others mentioned the AC was very loud, which would be my only complaint.
I wonder if anything can be done about the very loud A/C? I was able to open the window instead, but there was no screen. I recommend installing screens in the windows as a cheap improvement.

The room was nice, and bigger than some rooms in NYC and tastefully designed. The bathroom was small, but had a good shower.
I asked for a quiet room, but sadly got a room on 44th street and it was extremely noisy well into the early morning (3am!). I rated the hotel low because of this, since I couldn't sleep. I guess that is a downfall of being so close to Times Square.

Location was excellent, staff was great. Couldn't figure out the AC, called the front desk and they sent someone up in 5min. We were very pleased with our stay.
