The deluxe queen room came with a second room with work space and two chairs. Great if you need additional space with two kids like we did.

The staff were friendly. The location was amazing. The bed was comfortable The breakfast offered gluten free options and was tasty.
The walls seemed paper thin. Conversations in the hall and the toddler screaming next door seemed in the same room.
The air conditioning stopped working the second night. There was no refrigerator in the room so NYC's amazing leftovers went to waste.

Good option in an expensive city. Room was large enough for 3 people (2 beds) but still New York size, i.e. small. Close enough to Central park and in a nice area of town. A little dated overall. Good breakfast offered next door with a discount.
Expensive for what you get in the end, dated, not super comfy beds, loud A/C. Staff at reception.

Location
The noise levels in the room were so high that we didn’t sleep for our whole stay. The service lifts were out of order so they used the 2 passenger lifts for food and water and they smelled very bad after waiting for ages to get them….

Bed was comfortable. Front desk were friendly.
I wish the rooms were soundproofed as I could conversation and coughing.
Also, the clock radio has an iPhone/iPod dock from 15 years go. It is time for an upgrade on that. Thank about installing USB charging ports into the rooms. I have a portable charging station, so it wasn’t an issue for me, but other clients may not have noticed luxury.

It’s located in a nice, safe neighborhood close to museums and central park. Very close to the 2/3 subway lines that really makes travel comfortable.
The room is huge for NYC!
No fridge, old AC makes tons of noise, not 100% clean but after a day outside it’s not horrible just could be cleaned better.
The elevators (2) are so slow it almost feels like torture

I loved this hotel. It has old fashioned personal service, something seriously lacking everywhere these days. It was clean, comfortable and in a great location. I had my 6 year old grandsons with me and there was no trouble at all finding kid friendly restaurants nearby.
I wish it had a microwave.
