This was second time we stayed at The Lucerne. We asked for our room to be changed to an outside facing one. It was changed the following morning. We asked for a fridge and that was delivered to our room. The staff are are all friendly and helpful.

Excellent location, friendly staff (especially Ephy and Laughter), handsome building. Clean. Decent towels.
Massively overpriced for the room. We declined the first room we were shown and the second was a little better but not much. Dated decor. No fridge (one was brought on request). Terrible pillows. Noisy air conditioning. Worst of all, no bathroom extractor.

Room was lovely. We were upgraded to a suite. We lived down the street, only a few buildings away, so know and like the neighborhood.
