We had a large room with a separate area with a little lounge
Heating did not seem to be working in our room. It did work in bathroom and lounge area

The view. As someone visiting NYC for the 1st time, I wouldve truly loved to be able to see the city from my room.

A spacious room (for NYC!) with comfortable beds well located on the Upper West Side. Really close to the subway and ease of connectivity. Didn't try the hotel restaurant downstairs but there's lots of interesting places to eat nearby.

We've stayed at the Lucerne before and we love the area. Very kids friendly and easy to get there with the metro.
The hotel room is a nice size and we even had an additional room which is nice when travelling with kids. The restaurant for BF is also lovely.
In general we like everything about this hotel. Its is in the high price end though.

Wonderful
A comfortable stay. The staff are courteous and the location is good. The rooms are comfortable. I love that they give you a discount for breakfast at Nice Matin, which is adjoining.
