the hotel and facilities are great.
Paul, the manager is wonderful and a great service aware. Bobby the doorman is the best!
The rooms are clean and well kept.
The breakfast is... lets just say its better to skip it...
The staff are robotic and stiff, management are better.
The first room we got had a shower pressure problem, to bad it took them two days to realize they cant fix it until they replaced our room. after the switch- excellent service and a pleasant stay.

Wonderful
Was a perfect stay for a girl's trip with my mom and aunt. Room was basic, a few "older" looking things (ie-paint, spot on wallpaper, mirror needs replaced) but we weren't in the room much because we were out exploring.

I like the location of being so close to the theaters and walking distance to many great places especially Hell's Kitchen.
The room was ok but didn't have a coffee maker like in the past. When I booked I said it was only me and I got a room with two queen beds. It doesn't make sense that booking.com would do this.
I've stayed at the Hotel Edison many times and this is the first time I used booking.com. I don't think I will do so again. I got a room with two queen beds for a single traveler and no coffee maker. I've NEVER had this. I was given a room on the 3rd floor. I usually got rooms on upper floors when I have used AAA or called the hotel directly to book.

My third stay here and room was not as good as other stays. Air conditioning unit made loud noises and even had banging sounds periodically. Bathroom was tinyiest Ever! Terrible lay out ! Dissappointed in this room !

The receptionist must be more supportive. I asked for waving the deposit but they didn’t accept. I asked them to reduce but wasn’t accepted.

The location is very nice. The bed was comfortable. towels and bath robes are white and clean. The grab and go breakfast was nice.
We stayed in Signature Suite. The sofa is the living room wasn't good enough to sleep on, The staff was not very welcoming. The first day of my stay I had to visit reception desk three times asking them to make the sofa bed, as they had to prepare it before our arrival. The staff explained me that there are many rooms they have to serve. I think it is not my problem at all. We stayed there for 5 days and every day I had to remind them that there were three of all and we needed 3 bath robes, three bottles of water and etc. As well you have to pay 1 dollar per suitcase to keep it in storage room. I think room needs a little extra cleaning. You can open a window even a bit, so there is no fresh air in the room. The air conditioning in the room was noisy and didn't work properly. The bathroom had slight drain smell.

Location
Air conditioning wasn't working properly - he temperature kept rising up to 76°F during the night, no temperature adjustment could cool it down. There was also a constant sharp thud or "knocking" sound coming from the bathroom pipes throughout the night.

Everything was perfect! Bed, linens, the terrace! Loved the fact that the room included 4 luggage racks, 4 hooks in the bathroom, all sides of the bed had bedside nightstands with outlets! It exceeded our expectations!
