Ideally located in Times Square, this Manhattan hotel has been around since 1930. With distinct influences of the Art Deco era in the design of the lobby and the exterior, Hotel Edison offers Classic and Signature rooms and suites. Location was amazing! The hotel was nice. Rooms were pretty big. We did the apartment rooms with the king size bed and adjoining 2 queen bed room made it easy for our party to have space and bathrooms but not be on top of each other.
Upon arrival late in the evening, the staff member who checked us in was extremely unhelpful and rude. We had previously submitted the required credit card authorization form earlier that week; however, he stated that their system did not have it on file. Despite the situation and the fact that it was late at night and we were traveling with four children, he showed no willingness to help resolve the issue. He was dismissive, snippy, and even suggested that we could be turned away and left without accommodations. Additionally, he refused to provide his name when asked. Once we were finally in our room, we discovered that two out of the three beds did not have top sheets. When we brought this to the manager’s attention, we were told that top sheets were not provided—however, one of the beds did, in fact, have a top sheet. This inconsistency was frustrating and did not align with basic expectations for cleanliness and comfort. Overall, the lack of professionalism during check-in and the room issues significantly impacted our stay. I hope you will address these concerns so future guests do not have a similar experience.

The rooms are tiny I had to watch my other half use the bathroom through the glass door - so prepare yourself for that if you haven’t done already!

Excellent location! I don’t believe there is another hotel closer to the time square! Very friendly staff and clean facilities! Amazing breakfast with many different options! The parking was relatively cheap and 50 feet away!

The personnell was great, and location perfect. Breakfast was good enough.
I asked for a quiet room, and got one from the far corner, but the windows were so thin that all noises from the street were quite loud also in the room, keeping me up at nights. There were also problems with wifi (they said they'd come and have a look, but no-one came),which caused me quite the roaming bill since I had to work with my mobile hotspot instead of wifi. The safe of the room also did not work, and they said they'd send some one, but to my knowledge no one came, and the safe was not fixed. Also the aircon of the room was incredibly load. Luckily I was able to unblug it. But it sounded like someone had throuwn a screwdriver between the motor. It was impossible to watch tc while the machine was plugged in, the noise was so loud.
