Poor
Location, gym, cleaning staff
The hotel was a disappointment, despite the fact that we left nearly $5,000 there.
The breakfast, which we paid quite a lot for, was by far the biggest letdown. It is served in a basement area, at uncleaned tables, and you are expected to eat from a paper bag. You can choose either one piece of fruit or a croissant, and then either a greasy egg burger, sugary granola, or sugary pancakes. Only the pancakes come with a plate and cutlery. For anyone with any food allergies or dietary restrictions—or simply anyone who expects that, after paying for breakfast at a four-star hotel, they should be able to eat it at a proper table, on a plate, with at least some variety—it is a complete failure.
The hotel’s location is obviously good, given that it is on Times Square, so there is really no need to highlight that.
The cleaning staff are very kind, but the people working at the reception are extremely grumpy and rude, and apparently do not know how to smile. The hotel charges a substantial amount in advance, and then at check-in they charge another significant amount, higher than the amount stated on Booking.com. Good to know that we are apparently lending them money for free. At check-out, they told us that the extra amount would be refunded later…, from our country, we can only hope will actually happen. We were also informed that tax would be added to this amount and charged separately. How much this will be and when they will charge it remains a mystery. There is a complete lack of transparency regarding the final price.
The windows in the rooms cannot be opened, not even slightly, so day and night you either have to keep the noisy air conditioning running or stay in a completely closed room.
Although there were three of us staying in a room with two double beds, we were only given breakfast vouchers for two people. So even if the breakfast had not made us feel sick after three days, there still would not have been enough vouchers for all of us.

Location was perfect for Broadway shows and Times Square. The breakfast options were fabulous, especially the options for Carve Cafe.
Very very noisy air-conditioner in our room hampered sleep & rest.

Location was excellent.
We booked **two Signature King Suites**, but our experience was extremely disappointing from the moment we checked in.
At check-in, we were told we had been assigned queen rooms. When we asked them to check, we were told the hotel was out of the King Signature Suites we had paid for. We requested a refund for the difference in price, at which point the manager found two King Signature Suites. We specifically confirmed with the manager that these were the rooms we had originally booked and paid for, and we were assured that they were.
Unfortunately, the rooms were nothing like the photos shown on the hotel’s website. They were dingy, had an unpleasant smell, were extremely tight and uncomfortable, and did not have a refrigerator or coffee maker. On top of that, the rooms were very noisy throughout the night, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep.
We paid nearly $300 per night expecting the experience of a 4-star hotel in Times Square. Unfortunately, the rooms and overall experience did not come close to meeting that expectation. For the price we paid, it simply was not worth it.

The water was draining very slow in the bathroom sink. There was no microwave and fridge in the room which was very disappointing.

The location is right in the middle of everything. Ideally situated as we went to watch Stranger Things and it was right outside the hotel.
I was disappointed with the rooms we were allocated think they need some modernising in the bedroom part not the bathroom.
We had two rooms and they were on opposite ends of the same floor even though when booking asking for them to be next to each other.
I am not sure the grab and go breakfast is ideal when you have to pay extra to sit in. We stayed at the Pearl hotel last year two streets away and I preferred the rooms and breakfast option.

Loved the location! It was great to go back to a comfy bed after a long day. Certainly appreciated the security preventing anyone without a key an escort out of the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful.
For the price I expected a bit more attention taken to cleanliness in the shower. The shower walls needed to be wiped down before we used the shower. In the hotels defense we didn’t complain to them. It only took a quick wipe down.

The condition of this hotel was extremely disappointing. The furniture and facilities in the room were very old, worn out, and in terrible condition. The bathroom and bathtub were full of cracks, damage, and signs of neglect.
The room itself was dark, depressing, and completely unwelcoming. Honestly, I have stayed in motels that were in much better condition than this hotel.
I was also very disappointed with the attitude and behavior of the front desk staff, which was rude and unprofessional.
Overall, I was extremely dissatisfied with my stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, and I definitely will not be coming back.

It was in the heart of Times Square, and I had walking access to every part of New York. I wished to visit.
