Ideally located in Times Square, this Manhattan hotel has been around since 1930. With distinct influences of the Art Deco era in the design of the lobby and the exterior, Hotel Edison offers Classic and Signature rooms and suites. Hello - I as booked 5 rooms for my team. One of them was room 438. Last night my team member arrived at 9pm for the first time to see his room was not cleaned by housekeeping from a previous guest. He was so exhausted he laid out the only clean towel on the bed and slept How can we remediate this?

We checked into the Edison Hotel on February 18 with our two young children (7 years old and 2 years old). Unfortunately, our experience was extremely negative. During the night, our older daughter (7 years old) fell and cut the area near her eye. The room furniture, especially the nightstands, has sharp decorative elements that are unsafe, particularly for families with children. We were shocked by what happened. Even more concerning, shortly after this incident, our younger child (2 years old) also hit herself on the same furniture, which clearly demonstrates how dangerous these sharp elements are for small children. When we contacted the staff, no one apologized and no incident report was filed. Staff members came to the room and simply threw a bedsheet on the floor, apparently to make it softer, which felt unprofessional and inappropriate. In addition, the room was in poor condition. We would also like to warn other parents: the TV has paid movies that can be accessed with just one click, without any password or confirmation. While we were asleep, our child entered the menu and repeatedly turned movies on and off, which resulted in approximately $100 in charges. The manager refused to refund the amount despite our explanation of the situation. After everything that happened, I also seriously doubt that our deposit will be returned in full, considering the administration’s attitude and their refusal to be understanding even in such an obvious situation. We are very disappointed by the lack of concern for guest safety and the complete disregard of this incident by the hotel management. Families with small children should be especially cautious when choosing this hotel.

Clean, breakfast was kind of included (continental included) hot options cost 6.50 but didn’t include any drink. Centrally located.
No refrigerator, not much noise reduction, loud location, no place to put clothing or toiletries in the room. Water didn’t get very hot for shower.
