This was a great location close to everything time square has to offer
It is very expensive when travelling with children but the whole of New York so not the hotels fault

The staff were friendly and the restaurants and bars on site were a great bonus. The Hotel foyer is beautiful and very unique. Our bathroom was a great size, modern and clean. The included breakfast was also great and kept us going before our busy days. The location was fantastic and so close to the subway. Being a quick walk to Central Park was great for early morning walks and seeing a different, quiet side of New York.
The room was tiny and nothing like the photos on the website which showed a large Queen Room with seperate living Room with fold out lounge, extra seating, coffee table and side table with plenty of extra space. The room we got was a small Queen room and tiny living room with only a lounge. Once the bed was pulled out it took up the entire room. It was nothing like the photos on the website and was very squashy for a week. The air-conditioning was also so loud so we couldn't keep it on overnight.

The atmosphere as soon as you walk is very welcoming! Lovely spacious lobby. Waited a few minutes to get checked in but overall it was a lovely hotel and I’d be happy to stay again
Grab and Go is very busy and run out of pancakes on our last morning as we were checking out we didn’t get down as early. Recommend to be at the Grab and Go breakfast area before 8.30am for best experience

We were given the same room at two different visits six weeks apart with the same broken toilet and we had to have our room changed both times.

We stayed in room 817 at Hotel Edison from June 15th to June 19th, during the excitement of the World Cup, and while the hotel itself has many great qualities, there is one person who truly made our stay unforgettable: Justina at the front desk.
I wanted to take a moment to recognize her because exceptional customer service deserves to be celebrated. From the moment we arrived until the day we checked out, *Justina treated us with genuine warmth, kindness, and professionalism. She didn’t just do her job, she made us feel genuinely welcome. Every interaction with her was effortless, friendly, and thoughtful. She anticipated our needs, answered every question with patience, and always greeted us with a sincere smile.
As someone who works in customer service myself, I know how difficult it is to create a truly memorable guest experience. Justina delivered exactly that customer experience at its finest. She is the kind of employee every hotel hopes to have.
To be completely honest, she is the biggest reason we would choose Hotel Edison again in the future. We will happily recommend this hotel to our family and friends, and whenever we do, Justina will be one of the first things we mention. Outstanding employees like her don’t just represent a hotel, they define it.

The location
The staff, the hidden cheated for everything, from using a microwave charges to bell boy charges, every single thing comes at an extra cost. Checking in long and unpleasant . Bad small shower . I got a very noisy room ,
