Location was super.
Bathrooms for standard room are very small, limited place to put toiletries. The heaters worked great with good heat, but were extremely noisy in room 1012. Wife and daughter could hardly sleep.

The location was perfect! We were in town to see Hamilton, and it was literally a 2 min walk to the theater. We were right in the heart of Times Square. Also, the restaurant in the hotel, Friedmans, was absolutely amazing! We ate both breakfast and dinner there, and the food was delicious. One of the best things was the wait staff. They sing while they're serving, and they're amazing! It's definitely a must when staying or even if you're just in town. Just the location itself will make me stay again.
There were only three things that we weren't happy about. The main thing was our bed. It was so hard! I felt like I was sleeping on the floor. In the morning, my back was absolutely killing me. Finally, they get you with all of the extra charges. The room, initially, seems very reasonable, but after extra fees, I paid about $450 for a single queen bed for 1 night. It was advertised for somewhere around $160 (this included the $40 "resort" fee, which we didn't utilize any of it). Just pay super close attention. Another thing is the advertised "free grab and go breakfast", it is only for 2 people. My daughter and her family were staying in a room with 4 people, but only got vouchers for 2. If they advertise that breakfast is included, it should be included for all registered guests.

The location is excellent, just steps from most of the big Broadway shows. The breakfast cafe/ restaurant has many gluten free options, which was a huge plus for us. Room size about what you’d expect for an older big city hotel. (Small room, tiny bath). Property overall was clean.
The HVAC was really struggling in the cold weather and would run even when the thermostat was turned off.. The walls are thin and you can hear goings on in other rooms and water rushing through the pipes.

Second time in this hotel and even better than the first! Good breakfast not typical in US, nice rooms (should need a refresh but hotel is really big), strategic position
