The 24 hour coffee lounge was a big bonus together with the filtered water available on every floor.
Lobby staff pleasant, polite and helpful.
Room was immaculately clean and bed very comfortable.
Nothing to dislike only that the room was on the small size but then all NY hotels are the same.

The location, the business center, was wonderful; the free laundry machines as well. It was my second stay with them. The room was nicer than it was three years ago, but the service was on the cold side; that's no big deal, anyway, given the central location and the equipment.
I would be extra careful booking through Booking next time, given that they did not give me the room that they showed on the website. It was a visibly smaller room, with a much smaller table. When asked, the staff kindly granted me a bigger room, the one with the table I booked. They, however, said it was a gesture and that the smaller room with a tiny table was indeed what I had booked in the first place. On the last day, the elevator "dropped" between several floors (between 20 something and 17th, I think). It was probably being tested or something. It was quite a scare for me, but luckily it was just for a few seconds before it moved again....
