The location
Banged up and bedraggled, everything old, half broken and all mechanics noisy. Terrible bedding, worse than a 1980’s motel.

the kitchenette was wonderful the room was most comfortable the location was fantastic:: the diner/cafe next door was so convenient for breakfast and lunch and we were walking distance to Lincoln Center which is why we chose the Beacon staff was most friendly

The hotel , location and staff were all brilliant So glad we stayed here and not in time square Hotel is one block away from subway which is vital for trips You can easily walk to Central Park and on to 5 av The staff helped us countless times , made our first time in nyc effortless We will be back same time next year : )
No complaints here , our stay was amazing , the hotel and staff played a big part in the experience

Great staff, good sized and well-decorated rooms (they look better in person than in the pictures, in fact), fast elevators with almost no wait time, and an excellent location in the upper west side with plenty of shops and restaurants, near transit and Central Park. Highly recommend. This is the best hotel I've stayed in in NYC in this price bracket.
