The kitchenette and the guest laundry.
Also being a 1 bedroom suite it was spacious.
Lifts always readily available.
The property was quiet and in a good neighbourhood.
A couple of minutes walk to the W72 Subway, very handy to access tourist sights.
Huge supermarket and gourmet deli across the street.
We were very happy. Would definitely stay there again.
Only reason we did not give it a 10 out of 10 was we requested a luggage rack which never eventuated.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was large. There is a kitchenette , which was very useful.The staff were great. The neighborhood was good, and felt safe. There are a lot of restaurants, and several markets in walking distance.
The building could use a major update...a bit tired and out of date.
The neighborhood is good if you want to be away from all of the hustle and bustle of midtown, but it makes for longer trips for most sightseeing destinations. If you are not a walker, you may want a more central location.
We felt that the room rate was far too high and not a good value.

We were upgraded from a king for 2 people to a suite. It was very spacious and quiet. The staff was friendly. The rooms were clean and the location was terrific for reaching many places including Barnard College, which was our main destination.
The Wifi signal is weak and should be addressed.

The hotel staff was welcoming from the moment we arrived. The location is great just off Central Park, and has a neighborhood feel with lots of places to go to eat nearby. We were upgraded to a suite that had a beautiful view, and a ton of space for a New York hotel. Very comfortable accommodations. While the hotel is going to win the cool and hip award, it feels like a classic.
It would have been nice to have a gathering space, or bar/restaurant in the hotel, but there were many options nearby.

Location and comfortability.
Fridge was not working and food got spoiled. Got new fridges 2 times and still didn't work. They refunded me the money I spent on the grocery store for the spoiled food, which was a kind gesture.

The location of the hotel is good - close to Central Park and many of our favorite restaurants. The size of the room was nice because it also had a separate "living room" area.
Some guests would cook in their rooms because they also had kitchens and some of the smells were unpleasant and added an unfavorable aspect to our stay.
