Love the location. Right next to our venue. Nothing better than walking a few steps instead of taking public transportation after you’ve been in a car all day.
So clean!! I’ve stayed at many hotels and I didn’t smell anything “old”. Not even a hint of dust. Bed sheets were clean and crisp. Had no trouble sleeping.
Had 4 people for this stay and we could close door to bedroom and the two staying on the sofa bed had privacy/ quiet for sleeping too.
Love the mini kitchen. Perfect sized kitchen area, dining table, and fridge for all of our stuff during our short stay.
Water pressure in shower was not the best, but water was hot and shower was clean.

The hotel is very well situated. The location is relatively quiet, even though it is very close to everything. The subway is close by, as well as supermarkets and eateries. The hotel is a little older but well maintained.

Really like having the kitchenette, and Fairway Foods across the street.
The bed was super comfortable. The staff were very kind.
A bedside lamp was wobbly, like it may fall apart, and there was a small step down out of the bathroom that we were concerned we may trip on. We rolled up a towel and placed it there.

Good location near the Park, Restaurants and Subway station. Nice views from higher floors. Very comfortable bed. Useful to have a kitchenette for a longer stay. Great supermarket across the road.
Bathroom was tiny. Shower gel etc. not replaced before it was finished. Only given 1 hour extra for complimentary late checkout - otherwise full rate charged. Very disappointing after staying there for a week and signing up to the loyalty program.

Amazing location! Close to 72nd street Subway, 3 stops from Times Square, a couple of blocks from Central Park, walking distance to American Museum of History. Very comfortable rooms, huge bed in the King studio. Kitchenette facility was very handy.
Air conditioner banged when switching on and off, did get used to it though.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Beacon Hotel! The staff were exceptional — always warm, welcoming, and eager to help. The location couldn’t be better; the neighborhood is beautiful, safe, and perfect for evening strolls. With a supermarket right across the street and plenty of fantastic eateries nearby, everything we needed was just steps away.
Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The kitchen was a fantastic addition, especially for us traveling with children — it made all the difference. Plus, the view from our room was stunning!
We loved every moment of our stay and will definitely be returning. The Beacon Hotel truly feels like our home in New York!

I had a late check-in (11 pm) and all went smoothly. Overall, the room was fine and the bed was comfortable. The staff were all friendly with a special shout out to Victor at the Bell Desk who not only took good care of our needs (baggage, recommendations, etc.) but went over and above in finding us some cocktail toothpicks for our US Open Honey Deuce drinks that we were going to try and make for a party in NYC.
The Hotel is not quite as updated as it appears in the pictures. The hallways were a bit musty, the paint was chipping, hallway ceiling panels did not match, the shower had some mold in the grout/corners, the window shades were frayed. But I have stayed at other NYC hotels that were supposed to be 4-5 stars and were worse.

I like the Beacon and have stayed there several times. Great location and comfortable beds
I had that I have stayed several times, joined the club and still get crappy rooms by the elevator. Last 2 times we have been outside elevator. This stay is was horrible, door did lock and lots of noise.
