The service at this hotel is the worst I have ever experienced. I showed up late after a long trip from Canada to the US and was looking forward to rest. I had already paid 392$ CAN to spend only one night over there. The person at the check-in refused to let me in because I needed to give her a credit card to cover any damages. I gave her my VISA/DEBIT 4 times and refused my card and refused to let me in. She then proceeded to call the next customer that was behind me and completely disregarded me. She didn’t have any ounce of humanity within her body and gave me the fakest smile and said I needed to leave the hotel. I was shaking and went on survival mode right away. Like I said, I paid 392$ CAN and had a VISA DEBIT to cover any other fees. I had to go outside, gather my emotions and go back to someone else who eventually helped me. I am disgusted by the LACK of humanity of this person and I can’t believe they hire people like that to represent their hotel. I told her it was cold outside and I was travelling alone. She laughed and called the next customer. I felt helpless and felt VERY UNSAFE. I felt anxious and as a SINGLE MOTHER travelling alone for the first time, this experience was daunting. Never again. (they did NOT send me the 150$ deposit)

The bed was really nice and nice to have a heater in the room but was hoping to have blankets or a fluffier comforter.
Would be nice if there was a water station on one of the floors.

The location
The walls are so thin that you can hear everything from the other rooms and hallway. The first night the window was opened and couldn’t be closed. I had to ask multiple time for someone to come and fix it, and eventually someone came only after 5 hours, while in the meantime the room was very cold (end November). During my entire stay the water weren’t that hot in the shower, and during the night before the last one, it was freezing. Once again I had to ask multiple time and to wait all day until someone came to fix it.

The room was nicely designed. Simple, functional, and comfortable. It has a heater, free water at the lobby, strong wifi, clean bathrooms, and a comfortable bed - all aspects I'm looking for in a hotel.
I wish it had more space to open your luggage, but I guess the size was the average for rooms in the area.

Location was very good, you have a lot of shops and subway stations near it. They were very helpful with what we needed, they also provided a small fridge when we asked if I could use one.
The room was very very small, we travel with a baby and was a little hard to stay there during the day. We knew that they have small rooms, but we didn't imagine that would be that small. So keep in mind that if you travel with a kid rise the budget and book a bigger room.
Another thing that we didn't like was the door, sometimes I think that in US the doors are only to not see outside, not to isolate the noise. You could hear everything through it, all the guests. At the beginning of our stay we thought that someone was trying to enter in our room, actually was the guest from next door that was entering his room.

They don’t return the security deposit. It’s been already 15 days since we did the checkout and my deposit is still not there. They claim that it takes 7-10 business days to process is but it’s been already more days. Very unprofessional. Other hotels return the deposit right after check out.
