When I checked in the hotel said they were out of rooms, I made my reservation 2 months ago and at midnight after flying from California and arriving at the hotel they told me they didn’t have rooms and they would refund me the first night.

Good location. All great just 1 concern that at the time of checking in they are taking 100 $ depoait per day which they dont accept cash. And take many days to refund back in credit card.

The location was perfect. We were able to walk everywhere and if needed, there are multiple train stations to walk to. All of the staff we met were friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome.

Got to room. It was boiling hot in it on a summer day. No one bothered to turn up air conditioning in the room.
Also, bad smell in room - smelled like toxic, old cleaning supplies which lingered in the air a long, long time. Set off my asthma.
The prices at the bar were way too high and a total rip off. This is the Hilton - not the Ritz Carlton!!!
Crazy congested on street and around the entrance to hotel.
Don't like having to go up on elevator to get to lobby Then another set of elevators to get to rooms.
Poor service. Front desk check in was so slow. The bar was so slow in serving.

The room itself was nice and the location is central, but aside from the size and location, I have nothing positive to say about this experience.
I was extremely disappointed with my stay at the Hilton Times Square.
I specifically booked and paid extra for an Empire State Building view, yet that is not the room we were given. When I addressed this at check-in, the staff refused to correct it or move us, despite acknowledging the error.
Even worse, my reservation was paid in full before arrival, yet they ran my credit card three additional times during our stay. This resulted in over $1,800 being pulled from my account, leaving those funds unavailable while we were in New York. The staff admitted it was a mistake but offered no real solution, simply saying it would “fall off eventually” and there was nothing they could do — which is unacceptable when it’s your family’s travel money tied up.
The room itself was nice and the location is central, but aside from the size and location, I have nothing positive to say about this experience. The lack of accountability and respect from the staff completely overshadowed any convenience.
I will never stay here again and would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The location is excellent with easy access to Broadway, Times Square and a short Subway ride to Central Park. Subway access on 42nd and 8th Av is so easy to get too.

The location was perfect. The view from my window was great. The bar section was really good. The drinks were perfect and the pizza was delicious. We had the pleasure of having the bellman named Ignacio. He was AMAZING!! That man was getting those bags stored and controlled the number of people arriving AND leaving with ease. He was also the one who delivered our bags to the room. He gave us a rundown on the room (where everything was located: lights, safe, refrigerator,ice machine). He gave some great suggestions on where to eat. I wish I could give the other staff such a great review.
I didn’t like that the lady at the front desk was not very attentive. She didn’t really greet me nor ask if I was a Hilton Honors Reward member. The gentleman checking other guest in offered his guest complimentary water while they waited for their room to be ready (the lady didn’t provide the same to us). When in the room, we called to get additional wash clothes and towels (no one ever answered the phone; we had to go down to the front desk to request).

The central location
The towels/washcloths were not stocked routinely. One day washcloths, hand towels, and towels, the next towels only and they took my washcloth I had hanging up but didn’t replace it.
