the room sizes were great, especially for NYC. The location was also great. Just steps from NYSE, minutes from the 9/11 Memorial. great public transit options such as the subway, taxi/Ubers, Staten Island Ferry, etc
There wasn't anything about the property that i did not like.

1.The deposit was refunded very quickly.
2. The location is quite good. The water-view rooms do offer a view of the water, which is better than nothing at all.
1.After arriving at the hotel, the front desk informed me that only rooms on the 16th floor were available. It seems that other guests arrived earlier and chose the higher floors. I had filled in a note when making the reservation a week in advance, but it was of no use. Moreover, I couldn't find out in any way in advance which floor I would be staying on; I could only ask at the front desk upon arrival. Since I could lock in a specific room when making the reservation, why couldn't I also lock in a specific floor? Despite this, the attitude of the front desk staff was still very good.
2.There are inexplicable stains on the bath towels and hand towels that no one has touched. And also stains on the quilt. The curtains are a bit short and light leaks from the bottom.
3. The room is quite small. Perhaps influenced by the festival, paying 200 dollar per night is not really worth it.
4. There is a strong smell inside the refrigerator. As soon as you open it, the smell can be detected throughout the entire room.

The location and ny view
There was no food available at the hotel because the kitchen was inoperable. I felt this should have been mentioned so I could have had the option of staying elsewhere. Because I am diabetic, it is one of the reasons I chose this location so I could have immediate access to foodstuffs. I did not like my bathroom door because the door would not stay closed. So, when someone visited my room, they had to hold the door so it wouldn’t open while using the restroom.

Spacious room with refrigerator and safe (which we specifically looked for for this stay). Good location near public transit.
Some facilities were a bit dated; pillows are too soft and flat for our liking (even when we requested for extras)
