Great location.
We stayed while the restaurant was being renovated. That was one of the reasons we decided to stay there. That was disappointing. They should let you know that before booking.

The Hotel and the room were perfectly fine, with a microwave, a fridge, a nice view and close to all the attractions of the midtown around Time Square, Broadway, Madison Square Garden, etc.
Maybe the doble beds could have been bigger. And we had to wait sometimes too long for the elevators to arrive.

Great location not far from Penn Station, which is great if coming in from JFK via Long Island RR, activities in midtown, and subway access. Comfortable clean room. Pleasant and helpful staff all around. Easy bag storage for pre- and post-stay. Good price too!
Lobby and public spaces need freshening. Looks like some renovations are in progress.

This hotel is very central to penn station and easy to access from the airport
Well it was the check in booking.com had not put the proper name on my reservation and it took awhile to find it and seemly they do it all the time staff were not happy with booking.com

We are not entirely satisfied with our stay at the hotel. The hotel is undergoing renovations, which limited the number of working elevators. The lobby was not as attractive due to drywall installations, and outside the hotel there were large piles of construction waste because of the renovation.
When we took the elevator to our floor (the 19th), it often stopped on the floors where renovations were taking place, as construction workers had pressed the elevator buttons. Very frequently, the elevator stopped on the 9th floor, where there was a lot of construction activity and workers.
This negatively affected our overall experience. We do not feel that the cost was fair considering the level of disruption we experienced during our 8-day stay.

Location
Very limited breakfast. There was hardly any choice, and after just one day the healthier options (such as granola with yogurt and fruit) were already gone. Only pre-packaged, unhealthy items were left. As a group of six, we left the table hungry every morning. We ended up eating what little was available and then going out for an additional breakfast elsewhere, which became an extra cost during our stay. To make matters worse, when we took an extra drink, an unfriendly staff member told us we had to “make choices.”
The rooms were okay, but the one for four people was far too small. There was very little space to store clothes. The shower felt more like a converted bathtub, and the bathroom seems outdated.

Location was great! Subway station was on the corner I loved the location a the view of the Empire State Building was amazing. Also had an employee at the door making the place feel extra safe.

The room was good and the location is great. It's close to everything, with options for food, drinks, subway etc. The cleaning and most other stuff were also very polite.
The breakfast was a selection of pre-packaged choices, not continental as we had understood when booking. You even have to choose between coffee and juice. When we asked a stuff member about it, they were somewhat rude. Good overall, but the extra price for breakfast and slightly bigger room was not worth it compared to other options nearby.
