The location right beside the subway station was perfect! Walkable to so many things! For the price you just could not beat it around the area. We could see the Empire State Building right out our window. Grateful for the luggage storage so we could hit the city as soon as we arrived. I loved that we got personal texts checking on us to see if we needed anything. It makes you feel like someone really cares about your stay. I loved the digital check in, key, and check out. The beds were comfortable. I really loved that they participate in AAdvantage eshopping portal so we get miles when we stay.
The room above ours was under construction so, beginning around 9 am every morning we heard everything like it was coming through the floor. It wasn't horrible for us because we were out of the room decently early, but if you had a late night and needed to sleep in, you would have been really annoyed. Rooms right under the construction probably should not be rented until the construction is over. While we loved the water pressure, you had to really be careful because the hot water could easily scald you, it was so hot. It could be dangerous, especially for a child.
