Breakfast was in a cramped space with poor food quality.
Hotel staff was fine, very nice. Hotel property was run down with a need of major renovations. Would not stay here again.

Location
We booked room for 3 adults, and the room we got was prepared for 2 adults only. We were told they could do nothing about it and suggested we cancelled the booking !!!! and go to find another hotel. That was 7:00 PM once we arrived and were checking in.

The noise from the AC/heater in the room along with a large flashing green light above the bed made it quite tricky to sleep.

Staff were good. Shower was good. Cleanliness was good. Room was stuffy but air-conditioning was too noisy. Breakfast wasn't great.....they kept running out of things. AND there was no real attempt to recycle the multitude of paper plates and plastic cutlery . Not good

Location was a 11 minute walk from Pennsylvania Station and check-in went smoothly. Staff were friendly and the building was well maintained and clean. Breakfast was good and we could always find a place to sit as a family, it was busy though.
Sometimes the wait for the elevator was longer than we would have liked.

Location was good but nothing else.
Run down appearance on arrival, security system in lift was not working, breakfast was very poor, landing (floor 18) was a scruffy, bedroom door did not fit the frame and felt insecure (slept with the suitcase against the door to stop the light coming through) - that said I did not raise any of these as an issue as i arrived late evening on the first night and hoped things would improve in the daylight.. it was a short stay and I was out all day everyday.

Great location. Friendly staff - especially breakfast staff. Comfy beds. Good shower. Hot drinks available all day. 12pm checkout.
Breakfast was only ok - something different every day but it wasn’t very hot (apart from the make your own waffles, which the kids loved).

15-20 minutes easy walk from Penn Station. My wife and I walked to the hotel at 11.30pm down 7th Ave and had no problem at all (we are both in late 70s). The next morning we walked to Grand Central (about 30 minutes) so we reckon it is pretty well located. We could have stayed closer to Penn Station on Grand Central but not for the same value including breakfast. Good Wi-Fi too.
Not much. We knew what we were getting. Breakfast was a bit busy at 8.30am but we were not in a hurry. Perhaps a bit more fruit as a breakfast option would be good.
