Good, attentive staff. Shout out to Caesar who mans the restaurant in the mornings! He's so cheerful and warm. And very helpful! Front office staff were helpful too.
Before coming i read reviews saying previous customers had to wait a long time for the lifts (aka elevators) . This is partially true if you use the lifts during peak hours (eg. Around breakfast time) but otherwise we didn't have to wait more than a few minutes for the lifts to arrive. The lifts themselves are fast but the hotel has only two of them which is why you sometimes have to wait a bit longer. Also.. the rooms are smaller than they look in the photos but if you're using the hotel just to get some rest in between a packed schedule, that doesn't really matter. Staying on the 7th floor, We weren't disturbed too much by the constant sirens new york is famous for.

Good wifi.
Room is too tight for twin beds. No adequate lighting. Breakfast buffet too crowded. More tables please. We cant even finish food. More party keeps coming. At least a staff is needed to accept diners to control the guest crowd.

We had to go to numerous floors before finding a barely working ice machine. Then the ice we got deposited black residue in our drinks so we couldn't use it.
