Great location and good value for the price. There is a wonderful French Restaurant right next door called Le Tout Va Bien that been there since 1948. Great meal that feels like French meets comfort food. Not over the top and priced right - even open late. As for the hotel, accommodations were what we needed, not frugal but not lavish. Good size room which says a lot for NYC. Would definitely stay there again especially if seeing Broadway shows as they are all within walking distance.
The AC had a hard time keeping up. Mind you it was 95 degrees and high humidity, but we tell the front desk to check it as we left. The Breakfast was just a Coffee station with Croissants, as much as you would expect at a Starbucks but not much more. Not a sit down cafe. We had prepaid the breakfast costs Through booking.com and was still billed at checkout for what we bought. Now I have to go back and figure out why. BTW - there is a small WholeFoods Market a block away.
