Walking distance to sites time square and subway access
Breakfast was horrible
Not a great selection
Had to eat elsewhere because it was the same same same thing. Some food items were warmed up and placed out to eat the next day

Great central location. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Views of the city were amazing.
Hotel is jam packed during the summer and lifts get busy - you might have to wait.

The room was clean and had everything you needed. The location was very good. Close to Broadway & Times Square & train station.
Breakfast was just ok. Oatmeal was not hot and was watery. Coffee wasn’t hot.

Our room was well insulated in terms of street noise.
The location was awesome — it was central to everything via the subway.
The bed was comfortable.
The bathroom was small but well thought out, with plenty of shelf space and decent lighting and ventilation.
The room’s HVAC system was really loud when it kicked in, which it did throughout the night. It would get too hot, then the AC kicked in (this was in October) and then it was too cold.
They failed to clean the room the first day. I got a text saying the do not disturb sign was out and to let them know before 3 if I wanted it cleaned. I texted them at around 2 that I did want it cleaned, but when we got back that night it had not been cleaned (and my do not disturb sign was NOT out). I still have no idea what happened; my guess is that they mixed it up with another room.
The dresser was super-cheap and the drawers didn’t close well.

Clean, great breakfast, facilities, location.
No hot water to shower in the morning.
Guess everyone showered at same time or a problem with the heaters.

Incredible location. Central to everything we needed to do and right next door to the theatre. Very kind staff. Nice lobby. Nice breakfast! Rooms are spacious for a NY hotel!
ELEVATORS were a huge pain! We stayed on the 17th floor and had to walk the stairs multiple times. There are only 3 elevators and one was out of order most of our stay. We needed an earlier check in and weren't able to get into our room until AFTER original check-in window.

We enjoyed our stay at Hampton Inn Times Square Central. The hotel is ideally located near Times Square with lots of attractions, shopping and restaurants near by. The room was decent sized and the breakfast was nice with a nice selection of breakfast items. The staff was excellent. The hotel also offers water and coffee in the lobby throughout the day.
