The staff was behind courteous and helpful. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Better than anticipated. The location was great. Quiet, close to subway and South Street Seaport. Our nieces have been coming here for quite a while and recommended The Gild highly.
Room was a little shabby. Could use to be painted, bathroom caulked. Headboard was a bit worn.

Really loved how friendly the staff was. Always over the top and one of the best experiences I’ve had in a hotel setting.
My only issue was the address online sometimes is a little off showing on Gold st. My water was also coming out as orange maybe because of pipes? Not sure.

It was cozy and employees were friendly and responsive . The beds were pretty comfortable
It felt a little dark like guest rooms needed updating. The tile shower was not in best condition and bacteria on tub and shower caulk - that pinkish color . I tried to order room service- called twice and had to leave a voice mail and also front desk and no luck. it would have been nice to have a coffee maker in room . Seemed expensive for what you get but that is probably nyc
