We booked a city view room and it worth it, view was great! Room was clean and spotless, very convenient to public transport and restaurants, hairdryer was great!
Rooms are VERY small, parking not included, very limited options for breakfast, bathroom sink was tiny, no body lotion amenities not even a free water bottle, hot days in NYC and AC was not powerful, definitely value- price criteria was not met.

The location was fantastic, the room and bathroom were clean and the staff were courteous. Breakfast was adequate.
The room was very sparely appointed and had absolutely the bare minimum in terms of amenities (plastic cups, no dental kit and barely serviceable coffee maker). Also, the coffee service at the reception was not well stocked.

Location
The roll in shower had the soap, shampoo and conditioner fastened to wall. I am in a wheelchair, you cannot reach them while sitting on shower bench.

The location was amazing. It was across from Madison Square Garden. Easy access to Amtrak and subways. We had an early train in and a late train out. They held our luggage on both arrival, before check in, and departure day, after check out, so we didnt have to lug it around until our check in/train time. Clean place, friendly staff, and really good breakfast that was included with our stay. Beautiful roof top bar/lounge with pub style food.

Convenient to Moynihan
The check in was slow after a long international flight. But worse, I took a shower in the morning and the steam set off the smoke alarm in the room. I called the front desk several times without answer. When they did answer they said they would send someone. I was getting a headache so dressed quickly and checked out. When I did the front desk seemed very unconcerned that I had to put up with the noise for 45 minutes without resolution - “I called engineering”

This is the 3rd time we stay in this hotel. We like the location which is very convenient for us, the rooms are a decent size, the view is great on the higher floors and the stuff is nice and helpful.
They used to have cold water served 24/7 in the lobby and not anymore. But other than that, everything was good.

The Hotel is opposite Penn Street Station. Staff are friendly and helpful. The room was quiet and comfortable. Good storage and Wi FI. Very good shower. Breakfast was OK.
1) Being told a room was blocked for me and then, later, when I came back, it was not available. All sorted out shortly afterwards.
2) Too many towels left in my room despite my requests.
3) Guest Laundry facility useful but expensive.
