It’s so convenient, we rode Amtrak to NY. City, crossed the street to the hotel. The next morning had breakfast, walked around the city, and Ubered to the cruise ship.

Room was poor, our window looked out at a wall. Decor needs modernising.
Elevators were broken

Shawn at the reception desk was quite Possibly THE NICEST person in NYC. I was in town for a Bryan Adams concert that I've waited my whole life to see and the highlights from the weekend were Shawn and Bryan Adams ! Haha

The hotel was very clean and quiet. The breakfast had a lot of options and was quite good. The location across from Penn Station and steps away from Madison Square Garden was perfect for us!

Great location. Good free breakfast.
Check-in was all over the place. I had prepaid the room and when authorising my card they also authorized my card for the entire room again and also another charge for over 600 dollars. The whole thing was quite stressful as we had been travelling for nearly 24 hours and I'm pregnant. While the room was clean there was no duvet cover on the bed which was weird and made it feel unclean. The shower gel was also empty in our room after the first day. Not a great experience and not the Marriott experience.

Informed by Hotel that they were overbooked and as it was less than 24hrs, we couldn’t even cancel and had to be put in another inferior Hotel right in the heart of the ‘Dodgy’ area of Hells Kifchen.
Didn’t get the chance to stay.
