Very Good
It was very clean, comfy bed, nice warm shower, and the staff was very friendly! While the room was small it was well appointed, it had everything I needed. The location is great, close to the train stations, and lots of bars, restaurants, and attractions nearby.
Breakfast was mediocre, felt low budget. Bread and pastries were worse than a continental breakfast at a low budget hotel chain.. It didn't match the pretty interior at all.
Also, my room had a cracked sink and the AC was very loud, I think there was something broken with the fan. I can sleep through anything, so it didn't bother me at night, but it felt annoying and cheap considering how much I paid for the room.

The location was excellent.
The breakfast was much better than at many other hotels we stayed at in the US.
The lounge with the fireplace was lovely and welcoming.
The room was nicely made up every day.
The hotel was quiet and clean
It’s not necessarily a reason not to stay here again, but the room with two queen beds was really small, making it difficult to move around, get in and out of bed comfortably, and pack or unpack our suitcases. There was also not enough space to hang our clothes.
The lack of space made it difficult to dry our towels properly, which is why we ended up having them changed every day.
The air conditioning was also very noisy, which was annoying.

I had a very comfortable stay at this hotel. It was surprisingly quiet despite the constant street noice from Manhattan. The staff were very attentive and the location was great. Lots of attractions and great restaurants are very close to the hotel. Can definitely recommend!
The wait for the elevator was pretty long a couple of times.

The staff was amazing! Received a welcome text prior to our stay from the concierge team asking if there was anything they could do to help personalize our stay. Team also offered to help make reservations for dinner, shows, etc. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to so many attractions.

Disappointing
I have been staying at this hotel for many years and treated it as a home in New York. Some of the rooms are larger and more comfortable.
However, now the management has changed their policies. They have become extremely money-minded and have stopped treating guests like guests. After two amazon packages, they have imposed a fee of $5 a package unilaterally and without any advance notification. There is no mention of this on their website or on Booking.com, where I booked. When you pay $500 a night, you do not expect this kind of nickel-and-diming. Needless to say, this is completely completely incorrect and illegal if not done without prior notification and consent.
