The cleanliness of the hotel- rooms & common areas - and the helpfulness of the staff. They are very kind and seem to work hard and want the customers to be happy and accommodated. I also liked the little lobby and the coffee setup, as well.
the elevators can be slow - pretty normal for NYC, but extra time might be needed to get up and down. I also didn´t really "get" the rock music that is played in the lobby. But it was still cool - just not very calming.

Kind staff. Excellent location close to Penn station, Subway and midtown. Our room was very quiet and comfortable. The hotel lobby has a beautiful sitting room with a fireplace.

Honestly, overall, it was an amazing experience. I was assisted by Shelley at the front desk. She is absolutely divine. Made it a great experience for my son very helpful. I can’t wait to go back.

The staff was incredible. Very personable, attentive and professional. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless. Housekeeping was top notch! The head bellman was amazing. He helped out with luggage, transportation and knew so much about the hotel. I really appreciated all of the attention to detail and little extras provided. The coffee/ fondu station at the front desk, the welcoming lobby and cozy lounge entrance to the steakhouse restaurant from the lobby. Finally, it really seemed the faculty were all family and worked with respect and honest care for one another. A rare thing to see these days. Excellent management!
Nothing to say, other than my room safe wasn’t working on day one and wasn’t able to be replaced in time for my stay. Regarding hotel upcoming renovations- The pull-out couch in the suite and carpeting was older and should be replaced. The suite living area should have a little coffee table on wheels in front of the couch that can be used to eat off of if you bring back a meal. The water pressure should be stronger with an additional hand held shower attachment. Loved the L’Occitane bath products!

Convenient midtown location, reasonable price point, clean, quiet, excellent staff and great restaurant next door accessible directly from the hotel.
Low water pressure in the shower but tolerable.

Disappointing
The location of property was great.
Upon arrival some of the staff weren’t helpful at all. Really disappointing as I booked this based on the reviews of previous guests. The queen size room was on the smaller side.
