The complimentary waters and vibe of the place and especially the staff. They were so nice, helpful and professional. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The pull out sofa was in another part of the room and was perfect for our child’s stay. :)
My view was not the best but it was quiet so we were content.

Perfect central location to base yourself in New York… walkable to 5th Ave, Empire State, Time Square, Grand Central.. etc.
Comfortable/ clean rooms.
You do have to wait for lifts

Location
The room wasn’t ready by the 3pm check-in time. I had to repeatedly ask the reception staff and they told me 3pm check-in “wasn’t guaranteed”. Finally, the room was ready at 4:45pm.
The doorman who’s supposed to keep bags is rude and giving attitude. I arrived a few hours early and asked to keep my bags at the hotel so I could go for a walk. An hour later, my phone’s battery was dying so I returned to the hotel to take my powerbank from my suitcase and leave a small bag I’d bought. The doorman told me if he brought my suitcase he wouldn’t take it again and I’d have to keep it until check-in. He could have at least offered to go to the storage room together so I could do it there without taking the suitcase out.

We absolutely loved thjs hotel. Excellent location, very warm and cosy, lovely staff. Would stay again no problems at all.
Breakfast menu was a little same same every morning, otherwise quite nice.

The L’Occitane toiletries are amazing, the lobby is beautiful with a fireplace and cozy seating areas, and the location is really good - in the heart of Manhattan.
Honestly, I was a bit disappointed.
They give only 2 bottles of water for 4 people. The TV doesn’t support screen sharing and there’s no YouTube. The sofa bed had no blanket and no extra pillows, which was uncomfortable.
There were no toothbrushes or toothpaste, no spoons (even though there’s a coffee machine), and for 4 people only 2 glasses and 2 mugs. The hot water was barely warm, I actually felt cold.
Outlets are hidden behind the nightstand, super hard to reach - charging a phone was a struggle.
Only one bathrobe for three adults, and the rooms are very small.

Great customer service
When I inquired about an airport shuttle they simply said they didn’t have one. As we were leaving, I ordered and Uber. The guy at the door said that the hotel’s car service was cheaper and we should have used it? We were confused with the misinformation. Everyone and everything else was great.

the room was facing a wall on an abandoned building, a room that supposed to be larger was still small and the appliance - the fridge not secured, was moving and I got a black and blue finger trying to open it.
