Staff are super friendly and helpful. Best check-in experience I've had in NYC. Coffee machine was very appreciated in the room. Room was clean and very quiet.
The room was tiny and the rate is totally overpriced for the size of the room compared to other hotels that are of a similar and even higher standard that have even more amenities available.

Very well appointed rooms. Spacious enough for a family of four.
Some minor maintenance items with the room. Sink leaked when we arrived (staff repaired). Door to the bathroom was basically inoperable. Just left open the whole time.

- Incredible location in midtown, with a view of the Empire State Building from our room.
- Well priced for the service, location and facilities.
- The staff are phenomenal: warm, professional and helpful.
- Special mention to Andrew at the front desk, who made us feel completely at home.
- This is quite minor, but the door to our room showed signs of wear and tear around the handle (i.e. cracks in the wood of the door).
- There are only 2 elevators for the entire hotel of 18 floors. This isn't too much of a problem, unless you're trying to catch an elevator during check-in (around 2-4pm) or check-out (around 11am-12pm). The wait for an elevator during these times, and also during breakfast (around 7-10am) can be quite long.

We had a lovely time at Le Soleil New York. The hotel is at a great location. The staff at the hotel was welcoming and hospitable, whenever we needed something they were happy to help. The room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We also enjoyed the morning coffee and breakfast at the lobby. We would definitely recommend this hotel and we hope to be back some day :-)
