Location was great , central to everything.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and found the reception, concierge, bar staff and door staff to be friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the housekeeping service let the hotel down.
On several days our room wasn’t serviced until after 5 pm, which was disappointing after spending the day out sightseeing and walking long distances. On two occasions the sofa bed wasn’t made up at all and we had to do it ourselves.
One evening, after 5 pm, we asked if they could simply provide clean towels instead of servicing the room as we were too tired but this wasn’t accommodated and my husband had to speak to reception about the issue and to get some clean towels.
We repeatedly requested a blanket for the sofa bed, but it kept being removed by housekeeping , meaning we had to keep asking for it to be returned, by the last night we were so over it my daughter just slept with a sweater on as it was almost too hard to keep asking.
There was also an instance where a staff member from what appeared to be house keeping sitting on the ground watching her phone on our floor - not a good look.
This is a good hotel in a great location with excellent front-of-house staff. However, the housekeeping department could benefit from better management and consistency, as it did not meet the standard we expected.
We also paid extra for a suite room.

The room was spacious for New York and clean and very tidy , we had a great time , it was a great touch the 5pm to 6.30pm couple of free drinks and nibbles, we will be recommend the hotel to friends and family.

It is in a great area. Staff were extremely helpful. There was a complementary drinks reception and plus got $30 voucher back to spend in the bar.

Good breakfast though dining space is very limited. Location was great for us, walking to Bryant Park, Times Square, etc.
Rooms are small, breakfast room seating is a challenge, elevators can be a long wait and high cost of rooms in NYC.

The Hotel is very well located. I had read reviews that it’s hard to get a seat for breakfast - this was not my experience. I had breakfast early, late and in the middle of breakfast time and I always got a table. I think things must have changed since I read those earlier reviews. The breakfast is very good.
Two alcoholic drinks per person and nibbles are provided each afternoon between 5-6.30pm. It’s great value.
The staff are very polite in what is a very busy hotel. I give 10/10 to the very polite staff.

The breakfast was excellent. I was pleased with the variety e.g. -omelet , cereal, yogurt, meat, pastries, fruit, etc. The entire staff were friendly and helpful. The evening complimentary “happy hour” feature should definitely be kept. It was a welcoming retreat from my busy day.

The view from our room was excellent. The floor to ceiling windows made it so bright and airy in the hot weather. The bed was really comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Very quiet on our floor.
The WiFi was not very good on 31st floor.
