The room and the locaton was excellant and actually exceeded our expectation. The perks that were offered, drinks in the lounge, omelttes made to order and the outdoor movie venue was surpassed everything we had experienced.
Getting up early to beat the morning rush for breakfast and limited seating if you came to breakfast late.

The hotel is well located, the rooms were comfortable and clean, and the stay itself was generally pleasant.
The stay itself was generally fine, but the experience was significantly affected by a major billing error after checkout. Our two rooms had already been prepaid through Booking.com, but the hotel nevertheless charged our personal credit cards.
The hotel eventually acknowledged the error and refunded the incorrect charges. However, because the charges and refunds were processed at different exchange rates, I was left with a significant out-of-pocket financial loss.
I contacted the hotel several times and spent approximately 2½ hours on the phone trying to resolve the issue. I also contacted hotel management regarding the remaining loss, but I have not received a response.
I hope the hotel will still resolve this final part of the issue.

The rooms were a decent size.
(1) Although cute and trendy. the shower half shower door with shower curtain did not keep the water in the shower. The shower curtain is too porous or short. I had to request three floor mats. (2) No ventilation in the bathroom .

We didn’t like anything about the property
It was a poor and stressful experience from both the property and booking.com
We were mis-sold the room - the images on booking.com do not reflect the rooms we were offered at check-in.
We booked a room for 3 adults with a view of the Empire State Building - when we checked in there was no view, and the room was only set up for 2 people. A second room offered as an alternative, was an identical room on a different floor. The hotel confirmed the images on booking.com are for an accessible room for 2 people - and in fact the room we had booked didn’t exist. We asked for a full refund, and this was refused, spending over 2 hours bouncing between the property and booking.com and getting absolutely nowhere, while both kept saying it was for the other to resolve the issue. We ended up having to leave the property and find alternative accommodation, with the bank helping us to get a refund for services / products that have not been provided. All this despite being a longstanding Hilton Honors and booking.com customer. Additionally we didn’t see any signs of renovations, overall the lobby and rooms seemed tired, it’s not a welcoming environment.
