Wonderful
The location of the hotel is fabulous - you have coffee shops, convenience stores, and restaurants in nearby blocks, as well as the subway. The free breakfast (although crowded) is a plus, the size of the room is very reasonable for NY standards, especially the bathroom. It has everything you need for a short stay. The afternoon happy hour and the cinema under the stars are great additions and so inviting!
The only things that could improve are: (1) the coffee machine in the bedroom, it needs to be better, please!!! (2) the bar area - lights should be a bit dimmer and the liquor selection could be better, and (3) the elevators could be quicker and cleaner.

We enjoyed our stay.
Very Quiet room, nice breakfast and Happy Hour .
Staff very helpful and friendly.
Room was nice but only way we could see the view which was so nice was from the side of the bed.
The sitting area had no window. Otherwise room was nice but needs more outlets for charging . The wall outlets weren't that good for charging .
Everything else was nice . Convenient to many sights and restaurants via walking .

The view was good and the hotel was in a great location!
Letting the customer know before checking in that there would be an additional $30 per day as a destination fee to use on alcoholic beverages would’ve been a nice heads up. It’s not fair to charge every person that especially when they don’t consume alcohol. We gave our tickets to someone sitting beside us so we at least felt like our $30 wasn’t completely wasted!

Andrew on reception was one of the most arrogant / rudest people I have experienced at a hotel reception. It was obvious that he just didn’t want to be there and made that clear with his manner and body language..just awful

Smaller rooms/lobby than other Embassy Suites where we have stayed; we booked for 3 adults but had to ask for sheets and blanket for sofa bed; open sofa bed barely fit space and did not leave room to walk around;
No coffee for coffee maker - had to ask for it

The room was overpriced. Did not find what I expected. The bathroom sink was leaking. The bathroom is too tiny. It was not value for money. The breakfast was basic. The location was great!

I like the Location and some staff were very friendly
I didn't like the cleanliness of the room. The housekeeping staff did not sweep or mop the room. We came in the room with stuff behind the bathroom door and left after 5 days with the same stuff behind the door and they "cleaned" the room everyday. Breakfast was horrible. no seating available and no sense of order when getting breakfast. Everyone was confused

Disappointing
4th floor reception. Location, room location, water station in lobby. Breakfast options.
Stingy, cheap items provided or only when requested: reception drinks and "snacks" were dressing items only. Bar drinks available were minuscule. Value for stay was low. No concierge. Lobby bar was poorly staffed and there was a long wait to use the daily hotel credit. Hours of the bar ending at 10:00 p.m. is absurd. Poor decision financially with Shows letting out. Seems the only reason is to discourage use of Hotel daily credit. Early check in at 2:00 was appreciated. Restaurant food without appropriate seating and the eating area is inappropriate. Room service cleaning good. No hair dryer upon arrival.
