Very Poor
We didn’t like anything about the property
It was a poor and stressful experience from both the property and booking.com
We were mis-sold the room - the images on booking.com do not reflect the rooms we were offered at check-in.
We booked a room for 3 adults with a view of the Empire State Building - when we checked in there was no view, and the room was only set up for 2 people. A second room offered as an alternative, was an identical room on a different floor. The hotel confirmed the images on booking.com are for an accessible room for 2 people - and in fact the room we had booked didn’t exist. We asked for a full refund, and this was refused, spending over 2 hours bouncing between the property and booking.com and getting absolutely nowhere, while both kept saying it was for the other to resolve the issue. We ended up having to leave the property and find alternative accommodation, with the bank helping us to get a refund for services / products that have not been provided. All this despite being a longstanding Hilton Honors and booking.com customer. Additionally we didn’t see any signs of renovations, overall the lobby and rooms seemed tired, it’s not a welcoming environment.

Centrally located, just a short walk to Times Square or 5th Avenue. As the breakfast varietey and quality of meals and beverages for breakfast is very poor, there are excellent alternatives next door, like a french breakfast coffee or a modern breakfast restaurant with great smoothies and breakfast snacks. Nice rooftop bar with outdoor cinema and bar.
Very small room, especially if you choose to occupy it with 3 persons, which is possible, but not recomended. For two persons it's small, but acceptable. Breakfast quality is very poor and the breakfast room is extremely busy. Better use the surrounding coffees or snack shops.

Breakfast variety when available. Coffee when available. Hot and cold cereal.
Breakfast event could use a system. People looking around for open seats carrying plates and cups with hot liquid. Food and coffee appeared not to be regularly monitored for replenishment. People living plates on tables and it was hard to tell if they were coming back or the area was vacant for next group. A team assigned to monitor the flow could improve the flow tremendously during peak times.

LOCATION
WE CALLED IN ADVANCE TO ASK IF THE ROOMS HAD THE SOFA AREA SEPARATED FROM THE BEDROOM AND THEY CONFIRMED IT, THEN WE GET THERE AND NONE OF THE ROOMS HAVE THAT. ROOM WAS TINY AND HARD TO STAY THERE WITH A BABY AND CRIB. HOUSEKEEPING DIDNT SHOW UP TWICE AND THEY DIDN'T COME EVEN AFTER REQUESTING IT WITH FRONT DESK. FRIDGE WAS BROKEN AND THEY NEVER FIXED IT. BREAKFAST AREA IS TOO SMALL AND IT IS A NIGHTMARE TO FIND A TABLE AND EVEN MOVE IN THERE. THEY CHARGED A $30 PER DAY FEE WE DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT, THEN GIVE IT TO YOU AS CREDIT WITH LIMITED CHOICES TO USE IT ON AND ONLY PER DAY. SO A $65 DLS MEAL COULD NOT BE PAID IN FULL.

We had a wonderful stay at Embassy Suites in Manhattan! The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The rooftop movie was absolutely amazing and the perfect way to end the day. Highly recommend
