The location is perfect, very near the A,C, and 1 subway lines. Also near Washington Heights and Columbia Medical Center. The staff are very nice and helpful.
There is no lobby to speak of, the rooms are small and there was only one chair, although the lovely staff will provide a second folding chair on request

WE stayed at the edge hotel. because my husband was in Columbia hospital having open heart surgery. The staff were great they greeted us we we left the hotel and when we came back. the room was clean and we had everything we needed definitely would stay there again.!!!!!!!!

Good location, right next to subway. Room was basic but comfortable enough. Compared to other Manhattan hotels, pretty good value. Staff was helpful and friendly. Great views! I would stay here again for a few nights in NYC.
Room was slightly on the shabby side (eg holes in the sheets…) but nothing too bad… overall it was fine and good value.

Good neighborhood and safe location, no homeless around. Direct metro line (A) from JFK airport to the 168th Street Station. Step free access station. One block away from metro station. Cleanest room I’ve ever seen in Newyork.
More than half an hour from Times Square.
