Good
For a FCT, CT couple that travels to NYC at least once a month, the location cannot be beat. The hotel is also clean, well maintained, modern and very comfortable. Rooms, while on the smaller side, are beautiful and relaxing.
The water pressure in the bathroom is non-existent, and regulating water temperature is virtually impossible. You either get scalding hot or ice cold from the sink, while the shower is marginally better. Once you add in the tiny room size and total cost per night there are nicer, similarly cost options nearby that don't have issues with a basic amenity.

Thea staff are exceptional and extremely friendly helpful. The rooms are spacious , very very comfortable and tastefully decorated . Very clean and well stocked daily.
The lifts can take a little long at times and as they are small quite often they were full and we had to wait until the next one. Not really a big deal though when staying in such a gorgeous place . The reception is a tiny bit exposed when doing financial transactions.

There was a mistake with my laundry. The staff are unaware of what the timing instructions are to give in the laundry and get it back.

I loved this restored hotel: room, bed, pillows, cleaning!
Just couple of small things: the sink faucets did not work properly and in the king room there was not so much space if you have more than one luggage.

Excellent location, clean, cozy, quiet, great staff and atmosphere! Told them my trip was for my birthday and the welcomed me with flowers, chocolates and a signed birthday card from all the staff. LOVED THE GESTURE

The staff was incredibly attentive and genuinely friendly throughout our stay. The location is exceptional—super convenient and makes getting around very easy. The rooms are fully renovated and feel fresh, clean, and modern. It’s also a smaller hotel, which gives it a more welcoming, cozy, and personal touch compared to bigger properties. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely stay here again
I booked the room for 4 people (my wife and my two children) based on the listing stating the room had two queen-size beds. However, in Room 201, the two beds were not queen-size—they were clearly smaller

We were put in a room that was adjoining another room with a locked door, it was quite noisy but the staff were really accommodating by moving us to a more private room

The staff were very welcoming and the facilities were great. We arrived late and really appreciated the complimentary minbar in our room. The location is fantastic and the room size is generous by central NYC standards.
An onsite bar would have been great, however, I appreciate space is limited.
