Wonderful
Lovely room, with a view of the Chrysler building. Very clean and coffee machine v welcome! Great with a family too as a little bigger than standard in NYC, and after a long day walking - a bath! Location cannot be beaten, just a round the corner from Grand Central. Would definitely stay again!
Our booked room, with two double beds was not available on check in but the hotel handled it superbly.

Good size room, comfortable bed, nice decoration, central location , beautiful gym, friendly staff
Shower caps and vanity not replaced when used. Bed is weirdly made with comforter always coming out.

The location was great, right next to Grand Central station and some of the Reception staff were lovely and friendly and chatty. Room Service was good and fast
The lift was super slow, the place has recently been refurbished but I couldn't see it - the room was scruffy and badly finished in places. The AC was poor and the nights were way too hot as a consequence. Some of the Reception Staff were totally clueless. I couldn't have the room I paid for as it it was out of commission which was a big disappointment. The room was cleaned but things were re-stocked. The bed was SUPER uncomfortable, lumpy and soft and really low.

This was a fabulous boutique hotel in a perfect location - we stayed five nights and if the weather was warmer we never would have gotten into a car!!
The staff was so accommodating no matter what we asked including an upgrade of our room to the junior suite which was a lovely room!
The steakhouse adjacent to the property is wonderful. It’s pricey but we were able to take advantage of restaurant week and enjoyed a first class dinner at the bar without a reservation. Service was excellent and the food absolutely delicious.
Nothing at all - if we were to nit pick it would have been nice to have coffee in the lobby - we realize the restaurant next door provides coffee but it’s nice to grab a cup early AM.

Beautiful property, exquisitely designed. Rooms are huge for the city standards, lots of closet space. Comfy beds and pillows
The only negative we could find during our 12 day stay, was the lack of a ramp or stroller/wheelchair access. We were traveling with our 14mo baby and had a bit of a struggle every time we left or arrived to the hotel. Trying to carry the stroller up the stairs and manage to open the 2 sets of doors at the same time. Tho I must say every time there was a free concierge or front desk person available they rushed to help us with the stroller!

The location -- it was an easy walk to the theatre district and it felt so safe...
The place is beautiful, and the staff were lovely and welcoming.

Everything from the location, the room sizes and design to the staff were exceptional! The other customers at the hotel were also very classy and polite people. I would definitely stay there again if I go on holidays again in NYC!

We booked a larger room with a sofa and two large chairs. This spacious setting was helpful when we had family visit us briefly. The hotel was secure and the location is terrific -- just two blocks from Grand Central Station, two blocks from the New York Public Library. We picked up coffee at one of several local breakfast places.

Great location, beautiful interiors, incredibly comfortable bed and the junior suite was a good size ( most hotel rooms in USA I’ve stayed in before were too small) Super helpful staff
No down points really but if I’m picky I’d say that It doesn’t have a restaurant but is linked to the ‘Benjamin steak house’ which we felt was over priced- generally we don’t want meals at the hotel but as we were caught out in a snow storm we ate there once

Amazing stay. Our hotel room a junior suite was a fantastic size. ALL the staff were amazingly helpful. Location is brilliant. Can’t praise this hotel enough.
They also helped sort a flat rate taco to and from the airport which was hassle free and much cheaper than getting your own from JFK

This is a small but charming hotel. The staff is excellent, the room was gorgeous (alchemy suite) and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and has large marble bathroom.
The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to shopping and restaurants. The area is a little dark and quiet. The hotel is beautiful and updated.
