Location was perfect- near everything- clean and comfortable.
Clerk who checked us in was absolutely rude and out of line. All staff were very nice and friendly, the check in at front desk was abysmal- disrespectful person- nearly ruined what was a wonderful weekend away.

The facility was clean, the staff friendly and the location great. It felt secluded despite being in the heart of Times Square. Our room was quiet. I liked the international clientele. Thanks to Ronald for the lovely room assignment.

Room was generally fine, beds very good, cleaning was good, very quiet on 30th floor, nice view from the room, elevators worked great, luggage room had dedicated staff (no need to wait for reception to drop/collect bags).
Breakfast is a joke, do not be fooled by it. All you get is water/juice, orange/banana, bad coffee and some kind of fast food in brown paper bag. You eat on a tray, they don't even give you plates. OMG, it's like a cheap fast food restaurant and not a 4 star hotel. Staff there is incompetent, queues are long. Food quality is junk. You may at best have a croissant and cappuccino there or better go and eat breakfast elsewhere.
Staff at reception is not friendly (some people might find it rude). My check-in experience was bad. Guy told me I booked a room with one bed which was not the case and made me a favor giving me a room with two beds. I asked for 3 keys, the guy gave me only 2. I had a problem with safe in a room, called reception and asked to send someone to help me, but nobody ever came. I have a feeling that they have so many guests due to location at Times Square that they do not care at all about the quality of service.
On 30th floor water pressure in shower is barely acceptable. You can take shower, but it is not a pleasant experience.
Safe instructions are confusing. It says you can set 4-6 digit pin, but 4 digit pin does not work and you have to use 6 digit pin.
Finally, I have never seen a hotel where restrooms in a lobby require room card to access. When I returned the keys during checkout I asked a lady at the reception for a key I could use to access restrooms while I wait for my taxi. She did not give me the key and said that doors do not require key from 12 till 2pm. That was the time I was there, so it worked for me, but I am not sure what I would do before or after that time interval. Ridiculous.
Is it worth $700/night? I don't think so, though I don't know how it compares to other hotels in NYC. Maybe all hotels there are not so good in general...
