room was ok- it was clean.. that was the only good thing about my stay.
one step outside the hotel and the whole street is unsafe and smells like weed and cat piss. i had to carry pepper spray with me, and someone got shot less than a block away.. totally unsafe area. elevators wernt working and i had to go up the stairs to the 19th floor, charged us for breakfast even though it was included since we booked through booking.com, double charged me for my stay and caused a scene when i was asking for the information my bank told me to get, gave me different answers as to why i was charged twice (first it was a mistake on the hotels end, then they said it was my bank, then they said they didnt know.), manager was so aggressive when talking about it i had to film for my own safety.

The location to Times Square and 5th ave was fantastic.
The breakfast was cold and no flavor. Need to step that up. Also one elevator was down the wait times were long.

The beds were small and the pillows were bad. The elevator also broke and only one was working. And lastly, the air conditioning was not working properly so it was hard to keep the room cool.

Elevator often didnt work. Had to stand in line for elevator. Booking listed we would have water in room. Hotel did not supply. It was interesting high 90s. Musty smell in room.

I liked it
I would say for the staff to be more up to date on information surrounding the property. NY traffic is very strenuous. I chose valet through the hotel on my day of departure valet could not collect my car because of a parade in the area. So my daughter & I had to carry all of her bags a few blocks to the parking garage

Disappointing
Close to Bryant Park and Subway. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable
Elevators were very very slow and at one times had to wait up to 15-20min to get an elevator. I had to walk the stairs down from the 11th floor because it was taking too long for an elevator to come. This hotel is WAY overpriced for a Courtyard.

Was good location the street gets sketchy over night
the elevator was broken and I had to climb 19 flights of stairs (it was a real nightmare)
