Good location in Midtown if you need to stay close to Penn Station, Hudson Yards, Times Square, Broadway, ESB, 5th Avenue, Bryant Park, etc. The room size was decent for New York, and the area felt safe even for me as a solo female traveler returning from Times Square around 1am. I also appreciated the smart TV that could connect to my phone and the free luggage storage before check-in and after check-out.
I never received a response to my messages on Booking.com. The staff was not particularly friendly or welcoming, no smiles and not very helpful overall. I asked if it was possible to get a room on a higher floor, but I was told I would need to book a higher room category for that. I stayed on the 12th floor with a street view, but note anything below the 20th floor is probably too low to offer a great view.
One more thing I personally did not like was the bathroom setup. I would have preferred a proper walk-in shower with a handheld shower head, but the room had a bathtub with a fixed overhead shower, which seems pretty typical in the US.
