The rooms was ready right when we got there. The staff was really nice and when we had a question the answer it really well.
The walls are very thin and you can hear everything, specially if your neighbors are loud. They have a very low score when it comes to energy but whilst we were there we didn’t have any problems whit that.

- The location of the hotel was very good. Subway stations could be reached within 5 minutes.
- The hotel staff was very friendly.
- The hotel room was large. There was enough room to store the luggage and personal belongings. There was even a safe, free of charge.
- The bathroom was very big with a large shower.
- The hotel seemed very clean.
- I was able to store my luggage at the front desk, since my flight departed later that day.
I would definitely go back to this hotel again, especially since it's pretty central and not far away from Times Square and Penn Station.
There's nothing much to improve.
All in all I was very satisfied!

Easy to find, close enough to walk to anywhere we needed to go, refrigerator in the room, very quiet with regard to everything- we didn't hear our neighbors or anyone in the hallway, street noise, or any ruckus from elevators or ice machines! Also, the room was absolutely spotless (thanks, Tameka!) and the towels were presented so nicely. Appreciated that Crystal checked us in early- very early! without us even asking for this. We had assumed we'd drop off our bags and return later in the evening, but when we rolled up a little before 1100, she gave us our room cards and said, "Welcome!"
Probably not an issue- doesn't look like we were charged anything extra so far- but we left the rooms at 1010, had checked our luggage into day storage by 1015, and the statement said we didn't check out until 1244. Seems like a totally random time and seems slightly suspicious that it was assigned well after the designated/posted checkout time and the time we actually left and checked out.

Location and room
They charged alot more for the room than stated and had an exorbitant pet fee ( that wasn't listed) . Also we got charged double for the parking. Will NEVER stay here again. Plus they never gave us an itemized bill. TOTAL RIP OFF!

Very close to Penn station. Very clean and comfortable.
They did not provide us with water. Also, no water station in the lobby… this was disappointing considering that it is Marriot and you expect at least water for free.

This hotel Is exactly what you need if you are looking for smart accommodations while visiting New York. Modern rooms comfortably appointed (late model TV screens, very comfortable beds, nice bathrooms). The staff is amazing, I was especially grateful to Crystal Morales and her cheery disposition and highly effective service.
The property is great. Perhaps the only recommendation would be to have late night snacks prepared by the Bistro for guests who want a late bite. Courtyard’s model does not offer room service (that’s why such good value for money) but having limited options could help in that sense.
