I checked in at 2am, staff were probably very tired, but were not welcoming.
Breakfast was token at best, but considering the low cost of the stay, I was pretty relaxed.

Great location a short walk to Grand Central Station. Great rate, clean room. Very nice room for the money in Manhattan. No, it's not a brand new hotel, but it's clean and it's well appointed for what it is. Although the elevator could use a vacuuming, it is winter and stuff gets stuck on people's boots. Lol.
As I said above it's not a brand new hotel, but a minor upgrade to the TV system would be great. The TV is an older off-brand model, the colors are starting to go. Not really a big deal, but technology is pretty cheap And I stayed at a nearby hotel at a similar rate that allowed me to cast my phone directly to the TV, so when I was unwinding I basically had all my services already signed in.

The location is great and I love that they have a mini bar and robes in the room. The staff was very friendly.
The room can use a paint job and the upholstery can use a steam clean

The property is conveniently located right next to all the attractions. The parking garage is also a plus being right across the street. It was our first time visiting New York and the manager Robenna was super awesome. She is super polite and always professional looking for all the ways to help you enjoy the stay and explore the city so it was a huge plus having her. The bellman jack also took extreme care of us and our belongings. I’ve traveled to many places and haven’t really had good things to say other than if your looking to stay in New York I would definitely choose city club as our stay was immaculate!!!
