The style
When asked for a receipt for my stay,, they said they could not provide one because I didn’t book through the hotel itself,, but I did put down a $200 deposit with city hotel that I never received as promised after the stay.

Disappointing
Location was convenient and close to many train lines
Staff were rude and condescending. Not helpful.
Noticed items in mini fridge were past expiration date.
Air conditioner sounded like a truck engine
Whole place smelled terrible, like dust and mildew
Felt like a small, outdated budget hotel. Would not book again

The location was great and the room was clean and comfortable.
The property is in desperate need of maintenance/updating. The hallways are dark, wallpaper held together with tape. The rooms are dark and look old and worn.

The room was big enough for 4 people and had enough space.
There was not kettle , and no view at all. the Washroom has sliding room and the lock was not fixed . The break fast didnt have much options. & the wifi was terrible. I even mentioned to the reception to fix it but didnt make much difference. I had to make international calls and also access my emails and the wifi was barely working. i later had to manage with my brother mobile data. it was a big dissappointment.

Nothing the room was gross not clean and it smelled. They also didn’t give me the room I paid for
I paid for a queen lux room and was given a smaller room with not a queen bed and any conversation I had with the staff was useless

This hotel is very affordable, looks old but everything works very well and great location. The breakfast was pretty good. The area is safety. It's a good deal for enjoying NY.

This was an inexpensive hotel that allowed me to stay in a very expensive area — so it was safe and acceptable with the accommodations. The location was excellent.

The hotel was probably gorgeous 50 years ago.
The carpet smelled. It looked like the room had been partied in, or worse for years. The bed was clean and I was tired so I stayed there.
