The hotel is amazing BUT very noisy.. I love the CitizenM hotels the vibe the breakfast etc and I visit them all the time but this one is too noisy
The hotel is in a very central area however there is a lot of noise I could not sleep in spite of the fact that they were very nice and moved me from floor 4 to floor 18

the shower handheld head had a broken switch so it was was on a low pressure setting that could not be changed.

The bathrooms are poorly partitioned and the hotel and room have a certain scent that made me really sick. No ventilation since there aren’t any windows for fresh air.

Everything was connected to the server and there was a problem with that so they needed to open our room. Also the bed was large but attached to the window so I had to clime over my wife to get out of the bed.

Wonderful lobby with plenty of places to hang out. Great breakfast. I was worried about the elevators being slow, but it wasn't bad at all. Loved the high tech room with easy control over lights, blackout shades, etc. No long lines to check in/out since it is self-service on screens that are very easy to operate. There was always at least one person at the desk and they always responded to our questions very thoughtfully and pleasantly. Excellent staff!
The room is compact, which is fine because it is well-designed, with 2 separate closets and a compact fridge. It was fine for my daughter and me, but the bed position is tight. She slept on the side of the bed flush against the wall, and had to climb over me to get in/out. I also wonder how they change the bedding on those beds - the maids must have a lot of core strength! All in all, though a good experience at Citizen M!

During our recent stay at CitizenM Times Square, the experience was satisfactory until midway through our trip. While I was taking a shower, the water pressure suddenly dropped, and brownish-red water appeared on the floor. Upon noticing, I realized my body was covered in the same brownish-red residue, which was difficult to wash off. I tried to clean myself as best as possible despite the loss of water pressure. When I reported the issue to the front desk, the staff member informed me that there had been a water problem the previous day and that the water had been temporarily shut off. He explained that the discoloration was caused by sediment from maintenance work on the water boiler. I asked why guests had not been informed about this, but he was unable to provide an explanation. He offered to move us to another room, which I considered the bare minimum response given the circumstances. I asked to speak with a manager and was told to return after the shift change. I returned around 9:00 AM as requested. When the manager arrived, he did not appear to take the matter seriously. He laughed several times during our conversation and stated that maintenance had indeed taken place but not in our section of the building. He mentioned that we were the first to report such a problem, which seemed irrelevant given the situation. I expressed my concern that no guests had been notified of the maintenance and that there were no visible warnings or signs. I also pointed out that providing clean water is a basic standard and that exposure to rusty water could pose health risks, especially for individuals with open wounds. When we asked him what it could be if it wasn’t sediment from the maintenance, he told us it must be rusty water — as if that wasn’t bad enough. When I asked how he could be sure, he replied that it must be because there would be no other pipes leading to this one.
