Heard rodents running in the pipes or ceiling foundation:. Slept with the lights on cause of fear staff denies rodents on property. Trash right outside the entry of hotel.

The hotel was exceptionally clean, modern, and beautifully artistic — every space felt thoughtfully designed. The breakfast offered a classy, well-curated selection that felt elevated, not basic. Customer service was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish: friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.
The room was sleek and comfortable, with smart features that made everything easy, and the overall vibe was stylish without feeling pretentious. Perfect location right in Times Square, yet surprisingly calm once inside.
I truly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a chic, comfortable NYC experience. I’ll definitely be back.

This was the cutest little room, perfect for our anniversary getaway. Bonus that it was right across the street from the Gershwin. We were in a good location and was able to walk to all of our destinations.

“The room was a bit small but very comfortable. The location was excellent, and the check-in and check-out process was smooth and easy.” Hotel has a small but nice yard to take amazing photo.
NOTING. I liked every thing.

Very Good
That I could buy at a reasonable price - GOOD food/ The staff was very reponsive/ drinking water in the room helped /clean. I asked staff to check the heat & they had someone there in minutes. Reasonable price - I will stay there again.
The room was cold at first - weather chilly - the staff could have left the night shade down to protect the chill coming through the window- I put the heat up to 75 and it was ok but not as warm as the lobby. I wasn’t described to me how to leave the building late at night or early in the morning ? At 5am - no one at the desk. Using booking.com to make the online reservation - my credit card was compromised. The 3rd elevator wasn’t working and it wasn’t described to me how tho use it with the card. The sink drained slow & the faucet sprayed wide of the sink.

Location, staff, ease of check in / out, luggage storage facilities. This is the perfect hotel for visiting NYC.
The lift system is archaic and very unreliable. If you are on a high floor and can’t available the stairs this can be a headache.

Good
Quick, easy check in, friendly staff. Nice lobby area.
Room was very small even for Manhattan and would not have been suitable for more than one person. The bathroom a single plastic "capsule" which included the toilet, shower and sink. It was very cramped. The entire experience made it feel like staying in a small RV.

Poor
On the plus side, the room was extraordinarily clean and bright, and the vibe in the public areas was wonderful. The staff was quite helpful and friendly, though it took multiple calls to get the room cleaned, and the phone repaired.
Staying in the CitizenM Times Square was pretty much like living in an RV or a tiny home. It also gave me the distinct impression that whoever designed the rooms, never actually stayed in one. Or in any hotel room.
The room – SO small. The only place to do something besides standing up is a small desk chair or sitting/lying on the bed. The bed occupies the entire width of the room, and one side is against the window so that individual has to crawl over their partner to access the room. How does the staff even make the bed up?! The iPad to control everything is a cute touch but frankly, feels like a technology play in search of a problem to solve. It takes a while to fire up - if you wake up at 2am and want to use the bathroom there’s no physical switch or button - making everyday tasks more complicated than necessary. It’s a hammer in search of a nail. It’s also completely inaccessible to anyone who is visually impaired. The bathroom is necessarily extremely close to all other living space, meaning even a short shower steams up the entire living space, and using the bathroom means…well, you get the point. The sink unit is very small with no cups or glasses.

Wonderful
I love the staff, very nice people and attentive, always smiling and willing to help. The location was perfect minutes from times square, central park, and several restorant around, I recomend Roseta bakery at the corner of the hotel, good pastris and sanwiches.
The bar does't have many option for wisky or wine.breakfast was good , will be better to add regular eggs, the coffe expresso was fair, but the barista could;t make the perfect cortado , too much milk or too strong. The rest was good.

Poor
The breakfast was poor
The food was cold
The staff making specialty coffee drinks was very nice
Brown water came out of sink tap periodically
The room is ridiculous in terms of the bed set up and toilet and shower
I had to take medication and there was not even a glass or cup in the room which I guess turns out well because I’m no sure that their water is potable
