I have stayed at Citizen M on so many occasions over the past 12 years , NY Times Square , Amsterdam (the first one and still the best one ) Paris and CDG Airport ( so convenient) . First time I used this one. They are all pretty much the same I was concerned since the chain was sold to Marriott that it would lose its luster but so far I did not experience any major changes . The rate was good in January (fluctuates daily , sometimes overpriced ) . The views from the roof bar are great ! The rooms are small but well conceived . The shower is great !
The hallways did not seem very clean , maybe due to the bad weather in January, but being one of the newer hotels , I was a bit surprised that the carpeting in the hallways looked worn already and not that clean . Towels were so so this time as well .. The staff was nice, just not quite as cool as or attentive as in the past at Citizen M , maybe thats a reflection of the change to Marriott / different style or vision for their brand , less attention to detail for sure The breakfast buffet also looked a little less appealing as it did in the past.

I have stayed here a few times. The hotel is downtown, in a good location near SOHO / Chinatown / Little Italy, and it's a fun hotel. The rooms are spotless, and the beds are very comfortable.
The passages are a little dirty, and the furniture in the common areas needs an update. The gym needs a water cooler.

I love the citizen M - love the rooms and love the bar and reception areas
It was extremely noisy in my room which IAH usual for a Citizen M ! Lots of banging around in the corridor and rooms above me and a lot of street noise even though I was on 15th floor. I won’t book on Booking.com again as the Citizen M make a whole drama about assigning my CitizenM member number and my Bonvoy number - if u book on here thy don’t allow you to get credit for hi stay ! Which is terrible as I always like to stay at Citizen M and I use booking.com for my bookings - now I have to book direct in future.

Everything was perfect. Beautiful property, the lounge is so nice to work in. The art everywhere was lovely, the rooms were well sound insulated, a bit small but very well designed and laid out. The lighting controls in the room were super cool.
Wish they could make a Vesper at the bar.

Good location. Very helpful staff. In the walls were so thick. I never heard anything going on in either room next to mine.
Pick up and drop off will be much easier when the construction in front of the hotel is finished.
