Amazing hotel! They were able to store our luggage and we got our check in a little bit earlier. Very clean, beautiful space. The breakfast place is beautiful. Hotel is close to subway stations and in a privileged area of the city. If you're looking for comfort and a nice experience, I recommend this hotel. It was also very secure at night since you needed a unique code to get in. Side note, the shower was INCREDIBLE. I'm not a person that usually notices this, but it felt like a waterfall, so relaxing after a long day of walking, definitely something that changed my stay!
Booking.com didn't mention the resort fee of $25 per day that includes breakfast. However we were satisfied with the quality of the breakfast. It was simple but the pastries were delicious, and you could see the food items had a great quality, considering it was $25 for two of us.

Wonderful
Just spent 7 nights at the Chambers Hotel. Excellent Hotel, the location was fantastic, what’s better to have a short stroll out of the front door in the morning to Central Park and 5th Avenue. The staff were extremely helpful, Hotel very clean, spacious rooms and French windows, so you don’t feel closed in. Thank you Chambers

Perfectly adequate hotel. Not spectacular or flashy, but comfortable, clean and friendly staff. And an excellent location.
My room was fine, but the first room my colleague was offered was very small.

Very Poor
The location is unquestionably great.
However, the hotel itself felt extremely creepy and uncomfortable, and the staff was not very welcoming.
There is a wig/hair store directly across the street, so you can literally see rows of mannequin heads from the hotel rooms, which definitely adds to the creepy atmosphere. My friend stayed in another room, and hers was even worse—the mirror was positioned directly in front of the bed, and the overall vibe and facilities made the room feel incredibly unsettling.
What concerned us the most was that we found our room door open even though we were sure we had closed it and had placed the “Do Not Disturb” sign outside. That made us feel very uncomfortable and unsafe.
Overall, it was a very strange and unsettling experience. I also booked through Booking.com as a Genius Level 3 member, but I did not receive a room upgrade or really experience any of the benefits associated with the booking during my stay.
Great location, but unfortunately, I would not stay here again.

Loved the design and vibe of the hotel. The professionalism of the staff both at the hotel and restaurant next door exceeded our expectations. We love the lighting in our hotel room, and the continental breakfast was simple, but high quality and delicious.
The basement smelled funny, but luckily we didn't go down there often.

Pleasant
Couldn’t fault the hotel, It was clean/looked after, great location.
Unfortunately the staff are poor. After checking out, $700 was deducted from my account, even though i spent no money at the property. When I contacted regarding this they refunded the money and stated it was a mistake from their end. That was disappointing and enough but after that the $300 security deposit that was supposed to be refunded in 3-5 days when checking in was never returned to my account. When i followed this up after 3 weeks, all emails were ignored when asking for it to be put back into my account. I had to open up a dispute with my bank to return these funds as the hotel didn’t even have the decency to reply to any emails. Ensure you check your bank account if you stay here as it seems they are very cheeky and do what they can to take money from you. Extremely disappointed as i really enjoyed my stay here and i can’t believe a business would do this and then ignore you.

Poor
The only real positive is the location, which is excellent and very central.
The staff appeared unmotivated, and completely uninterested in guests. Not a single smile or warm interaction throughout our stay.
The rooms look nothing like the photos. The pictures suggest stylish, modern, well-designed accommodation, but the reality is very different. The rooms are old, tired, and poorly maintained. They honestly felt more like a roadside motel than a premium New York hotel. At this price point, that is simply unacceptable.
The “breakfast” is almost insulting. It consisted of a few supermarket muffins, a few slices of bread, filter coffee, and nothing hot. Calling it breakfast is generous.
Another surprise was that after 11 p.m. the hotel’s main doors are locked, and guests have to use an access code to get inside. For a hotel charging luxury prices, this feels cheap and poorly managed.
Overall, this hotel is all about marketing. The photos create expectations that the property simply does not meet. Charging over £600 per night for this level of accommodation and service is, frankly, absurd. I would not stay here again and would strongly recommend looking elsewhere unless your only priority is the central location.
