unacceptable that you have to pay to clean the room, the room was quite dirty and the carpet broken, the water goes out the shower everytime, it doesn’t value the money

Everything was fantastic - the location, the ease of check-in, the flexibility of a hotel without the typical hotel stuffiness, the lovely mezzanine level which was a beautiful comfy space to have breakfast or just do a little work on your laptop. Everything was tastefully furnished and the room itself was great!

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms. Very nice cosy common areas. Good location by the park and mid town but not as busy and touristy as times square.
I received a flurry of emails about completing online check in. The hotel does have a front desk. Everything is more tech like. You need to request house keeping, so if you arrive late you won’t get it the day before. Rooms were not as cosy as the common areas and felt rather bare, they could definitely benefit from a refurb.

Loved the location being so central and a five minute walk from Central Park. Matches the vibe of NY and it’s feel good energy. This is my favourite Sonder Hotel. The best part was the welcoming hospitality of the staff. They made our stay so memorable and went above and beyond to make it feel like a home away from home. Can’t wait to come back :)

We are very happy we selected this hotel!
The room was very nice, spacious and with a good bathroom. We enjoyed the chill lounge on the mezzanine level where you can heat and eat breakfast obtained from various deli's around the corner.
The location is great, just 2 blocks from central park and right on 5th Avenue. A short walk to the theatre district.
Staff is friendly.
Room cleaning is not included on multiple day stays but this is OK.
The rain shower has abundant water flow but it is hard to contain in the tub, so the floor gets wet. A more subtle detachable shower would save water and spray less around.

The location is great and the shower is amazing
Not a hip hotel (contrarily to what is suggested on their website), nor hip decor; the ceiling of the entrance is stained, the carpet in the room smells of dust, the staff at the reception are dishevelled, the AC is super noisy, the mini bar is not stocked. No cleaning service and no bed was made during our 5 day stay. And you need to give away your biometric data to a private third company in order to access the hotel.

Horrible room and bathrooms. The ac was not working so basically i was boiling. Both the days the elevator was not working so it was inconvenient for all the guests, they said they would fix it but they did not . Dont stay here
