Cosy hotel, very close to Time Square. Rick's cafe is lovely and the breakfast is generous. Useful to have access 24/7 to spare water/coffee/tea etc.
Rooms are comfortable but fairly basic. One of our showers was temperamental and could have been a bit cleaner. Room size is fine for central New York but double beds are more European than US size (fine for us as we are fairly compact).

The location, facilities, and staff were all exceptional. A highly recommended hotel for your next trip to New York. The hotel is conveniently located just off of Times Square, one block from a sub way station. The hotel is relatively small and as such offers a more personal service where the staff refer to you by name. The hotel offers inclusive refreshments (hot and cold drinks, and some light food snacks) in Rick's Bar, which is open 24/7.

It was literally steps from Time Square, the staff were extremely helpful, and Rick's cafe was an amazing touch

The location was amazing! Literally right in the heart of times square,we couldn't believe it. The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Our room was perfect. Very clean and the room was quiet given the location. Rick's cafe on the second floor really was a lovely touch, we visited a few times for a coffee and pastries after a busy day.

It was ideally located right by Times Square. The staff were really helpful and the rooms well appointed. Best of all there was a lounge, Ricks, where you could always get complimentary drinks and snacks plus breakfast in the morning. Travelling as a group of friends it was an ideal meeting place and we really appreciated having that available to us

This is an historic building surrounded by many ugly modern buildings. It is an amazing haven of peace and tranquility in a noisy, loud city.

Very dim natural light and no view - but if this the price to pay for peace and quiet (as Times Square is definitely noisy), it was very fine to me.
