Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was clean. Location excellent
Not much. Shower was a little small and room door did not close without a concerted effort. All New York hotels are overpriced so that it was expensive is almost irrelevant. I would definitely stay there again

Very good hotel for reasonable price. Good position, the metro station is near and you can come here from airport without additional transfers. And you can easy walk by foot to the Central Park, MET and all surrounding area, as well as to the Broadway and city centre.
The double-beds were quite big, we worried that they will be not enough, but fortunately - not. It were good double-beds with maximum possible size of width.
The space on the floor is not big, but we can open two big luggage bags at the same time.
And it was very nice opportunity to make cup of tea or coffee on the reception at any time. It is very helpful when you come in the evening, especially after rain.
Special thank for everyday renewed drinking water in the room! It is really important when you are with children.
The water from the shower was always on the floor because of shower door construction.
The very noisy extractor fan was running constantly outside the window. But at the same time it wasn’t bothering too much.

This is our second stay here. The staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. Our room was a great size. Housekeeping was excellent and very thorough. We love the location and the fact that the Blue Angel is a smaller hotel with only 39 rooms over 7 floors. The roof terrace is a great place to sit for a drink and to relax. There are complimentary hot drinks available in the lobby and a mini fridge which is restocked daily in the room. It's a perfect base for a break in New York, very close to Central Park Lots of places to eat nearby too . We loved our stay and will definitely return if we come back to New York.

I liked the bathroom and the hot chocolate.
The room was small and old fashioned. The area
was run down and out of the way of main areas of interest.I didn't enjoy coming back here in the evening lots of strange characters loitering near by.

Totally exceeded my expectations. Value was fantastic - hotel was very nice and clean, staff were great, room was bigger than expected, bathroom was great and bigger than expected, and bed was comfortable with great pillows and comforter (we had come from a more expensive hotel in Boston where we slept terribly and then slept like babies in this hotel it was so comfortable). The area is great too we had a lot of fun exploring - all the food options you could possibly want in the blocks around the hotel. Super convenient parking next door. And the cherry on top is they put a couple sodas and water bottles and snacks in the mini fridge in the room that you can have for free. Highly recommend.
No view out our room windows (just to another building) but didn’t care.
