Room is newly decorated and bathroom is totally fresh and new. Room is small but comfortable. Location is perfect. Breakfast is simple but generous in its offerings.

Wonderful
The staff was exceptional. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. It was nice to have 24 hours snacks and the wine/cheese hour is a nice touch. The hotel was well located to walk to our Carnegie show as well as Broadway, Times Square, Central Park, etc. If you didn't feel like walking, the MTA stop is very close! Room was quiet.
The continental breakfast room was too small and hard to maneuver around during peak time.

Pleasant
Proximity to Central Park , Time Square and subways
Small rooms, bad breakfast selection. Restrooms are in the room, so if two you can hear the other go.

The location was literally across the street from Carnegie Hall where I was attending an event. Parking was easy since there's a garage right next door. The bed was comfortable.
There was construction going on ALL NIGHT directly outside my window. I had to sleep with airpods to get any rest the first night. I was given a hard time at first when I requested a new room on the other side of the hotel the next day. I was told I'd have to vacate my current room (it was 11am) and wait until check in at 4pm when they cleaned other rooms to re-check in because they were alledgedly "sold out." Obviously that was not acceptable so I said never mind I'll deal with it, I need access to my room that i've already paid for during the day to work. About 20 mins later, I was told there's no construction at night but there is "some noise" during the day. This was an understatement. There is also major construction on the other side of the hotel that was incredibly disruptive to the point where I could not stay in my room to do any work during the day. So, this was not an enjoyable experience. There was no real effort to make up for this inconvenience by the hotel. They know this is an issue for guests.

Really lovely and accommodating staff. Clean. Comfy bed. Wine hour with snacks. Location.
A little pricey and small room with bathroom opening right toward the bed.

Wonderful
Very clean, conveniently located, near a parking garage we could leave car at for the duration of the stay. Complementary coffee and juice in lobby with a nice selection of breakfast options despite being in a very small space. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff.

The location is ideal, close to our favourite restaurants, MOMA, the theatre, Central Park, churches, Alvin Ailey dance… The front desk crew is warm, eager to help, cheerful and totally approachable. The rooms are brilliantly laid out, not big but easy to move through and containing all you’d need. The shower system is super, the towels thick and fluffy. We love this hotel, which has a European feel with more warmth.
Perhaps the breakfast could be a bit more interesting, with omelet
choice expand beyond the same daily one offered of cheese. But there is so much else on offer that this is a quibble. They are very generous here. Coffee is on offer all the day.

The bed was very comfortable, and we loved the food and drinks available throughout the day. The location was also central to where we were visiting, so we were able to stop back during the day. The staff were friendly and always greeted us when we left and returned to the property.
