The location is excellent! We walked or took the subway easily to our destinations. The lobby is stylish and very appealing. People working in the lobby were very friendly and helpful. The king bed was comfy.
Scratchy towels. I think towels at a 4 star hotel should be softer and thicker.
It was loud on Broadway Friday night and it woke us up in the middle of the night.
We asked for a 30 min extended checkout and were denied. This may be the first time this has ever happened to me at any hotel.

LOVED the HUGE room (not huge for NYC, HUGE IN GENERAL), so clean, always restocked, perfect location in midtown.
I had four people staying in the room, but I guess I had clicked just two when searching and booking rooms. They charged us an extra 20$ per person per night. Why do this when the room is the same ?? I have no idea. They couldn’t give me any clear reason either. Also no hotel bar, not that we would have hung out that much anyway. Quiet room! View of Empire State!
