I could not have been happier!
Not only is the Arlo a fancy, modern hotel right next to the Empire State Building. The bed was super comfy, everything was clean and it was a nice place to hang out at even after the check out.
The best, however, is the staff. Never have I seen staff that friendly and radiant outside hotels like the Ritz-Carlton. Yet they don’t have this well trained friendliness. They truly seem to enjoy what they do. Huge compliments to HR for picking the right people and putting them in the right places.
Special thanks to Jamilah, Chiara (or Kiara? So sorry, could not find the card before giving the review) and Eduardo. They made me feel absolutely welcome and they are the guarantee this was not my last stay at an Arlo. If people are this nice at all of their hotels, you sold me on it, totally!
This will be a stay I will always remember, thanks to these three beautiful human beings!
It was amazing. If it had an in-house fitness, that would be the cherry on the cake.

Excellent midtown location for walking and subways. Hotel was clean our room on 21st floor had great views! The team were super friendly and helpful.
Rooms were on the small side and the lifts were slow so often waiting for 5 mins to get up to the 21st floor

The service and the amazing view!
There was no room for our luggage in the room so we had to put them in the little hall of the room so there was not much space. But for the price and view it was totally worth it.

Location was great and staff was friendly.
One of the elevators were down for 2 of the 3 days that we stayed. As a result, we had to walk down 19 flights of stairs. Wait times were too long for the elevators, sometimes reaching 15 minutes or more.

The hotel advertised a rooftop terrace which was a big attraction but it was all shut up and deserted when we got there. That was a disappointment

Easy to get to from the train station, allowed me to check-in early, great view of the empire state building from the room. you get what you pay for here..
One of the elevators was down on our last day of the stay, added about 15 minutes to the journey in/out of the building. The cleaners storage room was left open for all to see into when going to the elevator on my floor all 3 mornings. There were bags of towel all over the hallways on my floor all 3 mornings I was there.

Great location, clean hotel! Expect for the not properly working AC, enjoyed our stay!
The AC didn’t work properly in the room, it was 78 degrees and the ac was running the whole night at 65 - it was extremely loud. Couldn’t sleep much because of how loud it was.

The hotel is modern and well equipped with clean rooms. The beds are super comfy. The staff were incredible and attentive, always happy to help. The coffee at the bodega was freshly brewed and exactly what was needed for a long day of exploring. The hotel is conveniently situated in midtown Manhattan, making getting around really easy on foot or by public transport. We stayed in a City Queen room with the most spectacular room of the Empire State Building. Would definitely stay again!

The location was better than I thought it would be. I haven’t booked room with a view but I got one and it was awesome!
The room was really small. I stayed by myself so it wasn’t an issue but hard to imagine two folks there.

We loved our room even if it was cloudy in the am. So peaceful up there.
The staff is amazing and very nice.

Everything! Too bad the rooftop was still closed when we visited because I think that’s a big plus for the hotel. Lovely but tiny rooms so if you have big big luggages might be challenging. We were only traveling with carry-ons so we were absolutely fine.
The location is just perfect, the staff so nice and helpful. Will for sure come back!
