The hotel is situated in the very center, close to all the famous New York spots. The rooms are small but very cozy for weekends. The rooftop is amazing, serves great cocktails and tasty food. The view of the Empire State Building is amazing.
The room was close to the cleaning staff room, so the active cleaning noise started early in the morning. If you would like to sleep longer, ask for another room far from this one.

THE VIEW. Looking out the window and constantly seeing the Empire State Building unobstructed from the window allowed me to pretend I was a real New Yorker. All staff were extremely friendly. The hotel was kept extremely clean and the room was very comfy. Make reservations to get to dinner at the rooftop restaurant. Location was great and easy to explore with a subway station very close.
Nothing that we didn't like, we just didn't realise we were in the garment district and all surrounding shops would be associated with this.

The room was clean. Nespresso machine in room. Caramels. Decor. Quiet. Staff very attentive. Umbrellas. Gym access.
Bathroom had issues: toilet seat kept falling down; sink drained slowly. I did not report these things, as my stay was too short (two nights). Didn't want to bother with having someone else in the room. The room was tiny. Not small. Tiny. Breakfast was too expensive.

Excellent location!!! Very quaint/boutique feel hotel. We really enjoyed our stay over the holidays! Would definitely stay here again!

The staff - especially Joseph on front desk, he was extremely welcoming when we arrived took time to ask where we were from, wished my son a happy birthday and throughout the trip always greeted us when we were coming or going, really made us feel like they were happy to have us there. I’ve been to New York a few times before but stayed in different hotels and the service between those places and the Archer - night and day. All staff whether it be other front desk staff, bar and restaurant staff or domestic staff we were made to feel like a priority.
I honestly couldn’t fault this place what so ever it got a 10/10 from all of us. Keep being awesome :)

We loved the bar area, small but quiet yet had atmosphere.
The rooms have been updated but feel a little upcycled. That said, the beds are incredibly comfortable and the bathrooms generous.

Excellent location. Hotel was exceptionally clean and staff delivered amazing customer
service. Nothing was too much trouble and all members of staff that we interacted with were friendly, efficient and professional. Wouldn’t hesitate in visiting again and in recommending to family and friends. Our Empire State view room was just fantastic and couldn’t be beaten in my opinion!

3 adults in one room with 2 double beds certainly wasn’t comfortable . No drawers and little wardrobe space . Wouldn’t like to have 4 adults

Very Good
No better location in New York, Manhattan. Important sights in walking distance, but public transportation is also walking distance. The hotel has an excellent atmosphere and a very kind staff. Very comfortable beds, very clean, good service.
I think there are only a few things a hotel room needs to be good at. One of them is the shower. Unfortunately, this shower isn't very good: the water isn't hot enough, the water pressure isn't strong enough, and water leaks out of the shower cabin into the bathroom. These things are annoying individually, but even more so when they happen together.
