Great location, super friendly staff. Ran into a minor problem and Manager Scott took care of us right away.

Location, rooftop bar. Water cooler in reception. Room good.
Some extra lower seating as opposed to bar stool height seating.

Wonderful
A truly wonderful hotel right in the heart of of New York close to the main attractions, subway and good restaurants (Bryant Park is excellent for restaurants and ambiance). This hotel is very friendly and has a great SPYGLASS roof top bar looking out directly at the Empire State building and is lovely in the evening for a cocktail. We booked an Empire view room which was great but not worth the extra money really when you can go up to the rooftop bar and see it in the open air for all its glory for no extra cost. Staff were all excellent and made you feel welcome from the minute you arrive to the minute you leave. We would truly recommend this hotel as a great base for a short break to New York City.
Although the rooms are very nicely decorated and kitted out very well they are tiny, once in bed your fine but two of you cannot move around very easy in these rooms and with little storage you find yourself climbing over cases. However the bathroom is a dream with lots of space. Shame but we did not go to NY to sit in our room.

Location for Manhattan was great, easy walk from Penn Station. Quiet considering it's downtown and the rooftop bar was a nice bonus. Clean, tidy and perfect for a weekend stay.
Wish there were stairs we could have taken up and down (we were only on the third floor) but couldn't figure out how to access them except for an emergency exit. Minor quibble!

Hotel is nice. The bar at the top is great with a fantastic view of the Empire State. Rooms were good and had enough facilities. Staff were very friendly.
Restaurant was fairly limited, but OK. And there are plenty of local options for food instead.

A charming boutique hotel in the middle of the city with super comfy beds and an amazing shower. Room size is not too bad (as we all know they are a bit tight in NYC) but cleaning was spotless (it passed my uv light torch test lol). Lovely quality amenities and a Nespresso machine with decaf coffee option is always a great idea. The hotel is located in a nice tourist-friendly area but also has a short walk to the subway if you want to explore a bit further. The hotel team is spectacular and they were very helpful and friendly in every single aspect during our stay. And last but not least, a rooftop bar (and weekend family brunch area) and a room with a view of the Empire State are always a great way to make the NYC experience even more memorable.

Good
The location is probably the best thing about the hotel; it is really convenient for transport and the sights. The room was very clean and the toiletries were nice, although we only got 1 small tube of body lotion for 3 people for 2 days. The rest of the amenities (coffee machine, smart TV, slippers, etc.) were as described and good.
So, it's my bad that I didn't really think about the bed and room measurements provided in the advert. However, the room and beds were very small and not worth the price, albeit everywhere is ridiculously expensive in New York. We got a 2 x Double Bed room and the beds are not big enough for 2 people unless you lie very still all night; anyone F510 or taller will have their feet off the end of the bed. The beds are also very soft so will give you a bad back if you prefer a firm mattress; this wasn't helped by each bed only having 2 wafer thin pillows. We also paid extra for a view of the Empire State Building; it is true that you can see it from the window if you look up over the ugly building and water tanks, but the view is not as it is in the promotion photo and was not worth the extra money (we were 12th floor, maybe much higher is better). The air conditioning was also quite noisy, and whilst we weren't disturbed by noise from the street, noise in the corridors was sometimes intrusive late at night.

The staff were so friendly and helpful!! We had three adults in an ADA accessible room, which was quite spacious with plenty of storage. The room was very quiet, and it was nice that the hotel was off a street rather than a busy avenue.
Midtown Manhattan is busy and crowded, but that's not the hotel's fault!

The room was perfect for 2 women traveling together. The room was spacious by NYC standards, and the bathroom had privacy. The view out the window of the Empire State building was grand. The take as you need umbrellas at the front were especially kind on a dismal day.
Not much- it was great. The welcome water was nice but it would have been nicer to be replaced each day rather than charging $5 for the large bottle.

Wonderful
I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location is unbeatable, nestled between Bryant Park and the Empire State Building, making it incredibly easy to explore all of Manhattan. The staff was exceptionally kind and accommodating—I requested a room on a higher floor, and they made the change immediately. The room was brand new, and the entire property was impeccably clean. Dining was good, and the rooftop bar offers an amazing view of the Empire State Building. Overall, top-notch services and highly recommended!
