Reception is well designed and staff are proactively helpful. The room was spacious and had good aesthetics. I was offered free water and snacks - a nice touch. Way better value than Residence Inn on the same dates

Location
Booked a room for 3 (a couple plus child), and when we check in we find out there is no extra bed provided for the child, unless we pay an extra blackmail fee of $50 for it (on a 3 night, $750/night stay!!!). As a matter of principle, we didn’t, and raised the issue with hotel management and booking.com, that this should be a standard service for a booking of 3, that was confirmed by the hotel.
The hotel’s reply was “they can all sleep in the same bed!!!!”. We ended up doing that, which ruined our holiday.
Disappointing and (honestly) disgraceful from a Hyatt -chain hotel

We arrived for a night between hotels and the location is great! On the New York Library, our room was large, luxurious and clean. The room had a high ceiling that gave it a luxurious feel! We arrived for our honeymoon and the excellent staff spoiled us with champagne and chocolate-covered
strawberries!

Our room was on the 3rd floor and strangely we had to take two elevators-change to a different elevator located on the 2nd floor after walking down the long narrow hall way.
It was a bit exhausting. We felt unwelcome.
