Location, hotel room was generally clean. Mattress was comfortable.
The pillows were way too big and uncomfortable. Outdated building, took me forever to unlock the door with the key. The lifts are slow.

Lovely boutique hotel in an amazing location across from Rockefeller Center. Easy check in, lovely quiet and comfortable room. Charming building that was probably a private club. A rare find in NYC!
Lighting in the bathroom is quite harsh.

A super quiet and a very clean place to stay in NY. Located in an excellent location close to the subway as well as other attractions. Facilities were excellent.
When the adjacent room was occupied there was no privacy in the room.

Great location. Quiet and peaceful facility despite being in the center of NYC. Attentive staff, especially the reception desk staff. Clean.
Limited food service and restaurant options in the facility. However numerous restaurants located near the hotel.

Brilliant location, between 5th and 6th Avenues - easy walking distance to loads of attractions. Great to stay in a hotel that isn’t a chain. It felt very old school NY

As a first-time NYC visitor who wanted to see all the Midtown essentials in just a few days, staying at this property right next to 5th Avenue allowed me to succeed! Price was reasonable for my budget considering the convenient location. I didn’t explore the club beyond the lobby and my bedroom, but those were kept clean and everyone I met was nice. Plenty of food options near there and Rockefeller.
Pillows of the twin bed were slightly uncomfortable, though YMMV depending on sleep habits. Shower pressure wasn’t the best, tissues weren’t great quality, and shower soap sizes are fairly small.

We always enjoy staying at the 3 West Club, super central right next to Rockefeller Center, across from St Patrick’s cathedral.
