we loved the decoration, the staff was great too although it took 4 hours to fix a toillet cloght .
It took them 4 hours to fix the toillet cloght. the breakfast at the hotel`s restaurant was not good either, specially considering the price. We would love to have had a bath tub in the bathroom.

Rooms were great, clean and beautiful. Hotel decor is beautiful! I mean, really beautiful. Excelent taste. Michael was the best concierge I’ve ever seen; extremely helpful! As a matter of fact, every hotel employee I talked to was very helpful and friendly (and this is a big complimentc considering the 1 is in NYC!)
The only problem was that one of the two rooms we got was somewhat small… but hey, this is NY I guess… most expensive real estate in the world!

Fabulous hotel. Very original, love all the greenery in it. Love the hourglass in the shower. Super convenient location, close to several subway stations.
I am exceedingly sensitive to noise. So, I did notice people walking on the floor above (we were on the 4th floor, room 403). Also, from Room 403, you could hear the rain hit the structures right outside the window, which woke us up in the middle of the night, but it was raining hard.

Great location, spotlessly clean and comfortable rooms and good facilities generally.
The restaurant, as with most places in Manhattan, is eye watering expensive.

Good location as next to Central Park and easy access to subway.
The plumbing in the rooms wasn’t very good. I.e., the waterfall shower head had very low pressure and so we didn’t use it at all during our stay. The taps take a while to turn off and the water (although filtered) does come out very misty and needs to settle.
