The people were so professional and friendly. I can’t tell the last time I’ve been to a hotel like this. Melissa at the front desk was exceptional, and professional and had great recommendations. I loved that there was parking.

Everything was great
When we arrived and got our room. There was someone else there. Went down to desk and they apologized that they had a power outage that morning and things may have got scrambled. Thankfully they had another room for us

The workers were kind. Location felt safe. Rooms and bathrooms were clean. Lots of parking available out back. Near a safe and well-stocked gas station. (And a McDonalds, if that's your thing.) Only a 5-10 drive to Maspeth, where we were seeing music. Easy Uber pick-up spot.
Elevator was very slow. I would have really appreciated non-dairy options for coffee in the morning. :(

Everything is great. One big advantage I find here it the ability to drive and park my car here.
The fact that many other people agree with me can make if tricky to find a spot to park. I have been lucky so far

Close to Knockdown Center. I was able to walk there from the hotel to see a show but you may want to get a cab or something because it was a sketchy walk, wouldn’t recommend going alone after dark.
I booked a king room but was given a double queen instead because they were “fully booked”. I asked to be refunded the difference and was told they can’t do that, they can only give me “points”, with the requirement that I become a member. There was an alarm going off in the hotel (C level) the ENTIRE night which made it impossible to get, and stay, asleep. I asked to speak to the manager and was told that I can “leave a message”, which I did. Never heard anything from them. The facility itself looked rundown, could definitely use updating and at least a fresh coat of paint. The bathroom toilet made strange noises but was functional. The breakfast was a joke. Don’t come here.
