Disappointing
The accommodations are good and comfortable; the room is spacious and clean. They have parking and it's close to Interstate 495.
I've stayed at this hotel five times, but this time the stay was terrible. The basement room was awful for sleeping. We heard a lot of noise all night and into the morning; we could hear things being moved and dragged on the ceiling, the service entrance door opening and closing, and cars driving through the parking lot. Additionally, we asked for a late check-out because we arrived in the early hours of our trip and wanted to sleep a few more hours. The front desk didn't have a problem with that, but the housekeeping department was opening our door at 11:00 AM. They didn't even check that we had the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door. There's no good communication between departments, which is crucial for a positive customer experience.

The workers were kind. Location felt safe. Rooms and bathrooms were clean. Lots of parking available out back. Near a safe and well-stocked gas station. (And a McDonalds, if that's your thing.) Only a 5-10 drive to Maspeth, where we were seeing music. Easy Uber pick-up spot.
Elevator was very slow. I would have really appreciated non-dairy options for coffee in the morning. :(
