Great location, right next to Manhattan.
A lot of eating places on the next block from the hotel. You can walk there.
Easy parking right in the building. Easy drive to all over Queens, Manhattan and Brooklyn.
Small rooms, but ok for couples.

Perfect location with access to a few different train lines all within a short walking distance. Parking was easy. Staff were very helpful with organising a cab to the airport. Public Transport to airport was also easy.
I wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy the hotel.

The bedding and the affability of the person who checked us in the night was decent , he was also understanding and gave us a late checkout.
From his side he did what was needed and was attentive especially as our flight was at 2AM and we only reached the hotel in the early hours of the morning
The supervisor at the front desk the next morning , was rude , arrogant , did not seem to care about customer service .
We informed that we had requested a room on a higher floor and we had sent messages through booking.coms system and her grand response was that we should call the hotel beforehand and they dont deal with messages through booking.coms platform.
Then she informed the rooms operate at a first come first serve basis , and that we were allocated a room on the 4th floor which bordered the public terrace, and the only thing preventing people from peering into our rooms were some shrubbery , was somehow worth it for the fees they charge (upwards of 425 $ a night)
I informed that we had communicated our requests very early to the hotel at least a month ahead but she was more insistent on having the upper hand in this conversation .
Needless to say its thanks to the person the night before that we are even looking at a passable rating for the property, however expecting people from a foreign country to have the ability to call the hotel and request for higher rooms and then pretend like they don't know what Booking.com messaging platform is and that they never received any mails., even though we had been in communication with them from the start is absurd.
