Within a 10 to 15 minute walk to Cruise terminal. Clean tidy room. Comfortable bed. Staff were excellent, very helpful. Good value for what we paid.

Wonderful
The room was just fine, close to the venue I wanted to visit and reasonably priced.
I had no complaints with anything regarding my stay.

Very Poor
The location is convenient to the Clinton Wharf cruise terminal. As such, travellers are thoroughly exploited.
We booked months in advance and advised them we would be arriving very late at night due to travel connections. This fact was acknowledged, although twice more we were asked to confirm our arrival time.
We were allocated the last, worst room in the basement, despite our early booking.
The room smelled of mould. I immediately requested a change. The pleasant person advised me it was a full house with our cruise departing tomorrow.
I tried to open the window to allow air in. It was broken. I sent for Maintenance, and he got it open a crack, but clearly not opened in years.
Only one coffee cup was provided.
A towel was dirty.
At our 9.00 am breakfast, considering our 1.00 am bedtime, there was no food left. It had been eaten out. Breakfast was included in our booking but there was only toast, nothing hot, no cereal and coffee was cleared away before 9.30.
Clearly, breakfast is provided by a contractor because it's all wrapped in plastic, but the hotel simply had not ordered enough for its full house, even knowing in advance, and this could have been rectified.
I asked for compensation and a refund on breakfast, politely of course, and have since had two letters from the Assistant GM, a Mr Obed Estrada, telling me my request is not worthy.
I am a seasoned, reasonable traveller. This hotel is the worst of thousands I have experienced for service, room and cleanliness.
DO NOT STAY HERE for your cruise. Go further afield. You need a taxi to the Wharf anyway with luggage.

Very Good
bed, pillows, and cleanliness
being pushed to another site that pushes other things to buy. It was unclear that signing up online for the room did not require you to use this system. It was very frustrating and took a good amount of time for me to set this up and after I found out it was not necessary to set up at all. Also the elevators did not work correctly. I took stairs both days because the wait time for elevator was super slow.

Breakfast was nice and room was clean and kind of big. The staff was kind!!
Location ok but 15 minutes by foot to the first subway station. But the bus station was less than 5 minutes though!

Impressed with the basic setup and location for my purposes, and in an interesting neighborhood.
The canteen is a nice idea. The menu could use some improvement (gluten-free items), but thanks.
The a/c was a noisy. I turned it off despite the heat and used the fan only.

Good
Clean room. Nice staff. Breakfast was diverse and the coffee was good.
Bad smell in public areas. Like a sewer, but not in the room itself which was fresh.

Very Good
Clean and everything works. Staff was friendly and helpful.
A little too expensive. The breakfast can be improved by offering more choices even if they change slightly every day
