Pleasant
Great value for money, comfortable beds
Not very sound proofed, could hear guests next door, extremely thick dust on lampshades and hanging lights, mismatched light bulb shades (some warm some cool, very annoying)

Great location, kind staff, and nice-sized rooms. Beds and bathroom were clean.
Pretty sure there are only two housekeeping staff and they were really helpful while we were there. However, I think they need to maybe hire more people. The floor doesn't look like it's been vacuumed in a while, and DEFINITELY not mopped this year. My socks were pretty freaking filthy after maaaaybe a couple hours walking around the room. I stayed in a basic room for one night and then moved to a junior suite with friends and the floor was just as dirty.

I liked nothing about the property it was under construction, no clean, and I did not feel safe.
My room was located on the first floor, and the lobby was under loud construction, which made the environment uncomfortable and unwelcoming.
The room was outdated, the bed had visible stains, and the shower was dirty and broken.
The door latch was nonfunctional, which posed a safety risk, especially as a solo female traveler.
The front desk was behind bulletproof glass, further contributing to my concerns about the surrounding area and overall safety of the property

Poor
Nothing..
Very disappointed.. Overpriced for what it is, and not as described. First of all, there is no breakfast included and they only give you 2 bottles of water for the duration of your stay. We were missing half the bathroom doors, which made going to the washroom very uncomfortable if you want to keep some sort of privacy and dignity in your relationship. The water was either freezing cold or scalding hot, and our toilet ran randomly throughout the night. We were in suite 106, which was beside the kitchen on one side (not sure what the kitchen was for if there’s no food lol) and on an outside wall which had people hanging around drinking and talking until late into the night. We also asked for extra bedding, which was never brought to us. Overall? It was a roof over our heads for the couple of nights we stayed there and that was it.

Not anything. It is not a good place to stay.
Many things were broken. The room was unclean. The staff was evasive. They didnt not react to my questions or issues. Avoid this place. The pictures are dishonest. It is in much worse condition than it looks and the part of town is not good.
It should offer the rooms at half the cost maximum.

The room itself was very large and basically comfortable. The hotel seems like at one time it was very well constructed with good materials - windows to quiet outdoor sound, nice tile work in bathrooms, very good room layout, but it seems perhaps the current management isn’t keeping it up. Air conditioning worked well and beds were comfortable. Great to have a mini fridge and microwave in the room.
There was no real bar/lounge area - seems 1/2 under construction…photos online are not current. The room wasn’t as clean as I would have hoped…we found used plastic wear under chairs, all plugs were out of outlets, and when we went to plug in the plug for our new bedside table and charging station, there were shards of broken glass on the floor all around the table. I don’t believe there had been much vacuuming done in quite some time.

The location is great. I have stayed at the Brooklyn before.
The property has really gone down since the last time I stayed there. The toilet ran all night, we had to keep raising the hood to make sure that the tank was filling up properly. The elevator made you feel as if it was going to get stuck between floors. Really not a good bang for the bucks you are charged to stay there.

Good enough location, not fantastic, but convenient for subway, and train stations.
Room was very spacious, and kitchen area was useful.
Falling apart, didn’t feel like a quality stay for the money paid.
