Wonderful
We spent 5 nights here and had no complaints. We used it as a base for exploring New York and spent some walking the local streets to get to bus/subway stops, and whilst the area might not be amazing, we did not feel uncomfortable or threatened. It took around an hour to get into Manhattan, but we knew this to be the case - the trade-off was staying somewhere affordable! If you're looking for value for money, we'd certainly recommend it. If you're looking for luxury and glamorous surroundings - you'll need to put your hand deeper into your pocket and pay more for somewhere else! Staff were so helpful and friendly.
