Loved the breakfast, and the option to take it out, when I didn't have time to sit down there, in the moment.
The exercise room, the tred mills need maintenance and there wasn't a bathroom in the exercise room, which meant id had to go down 3 flights, each time I needed a bathroom break.

Kitchen doesn’t have any tools for cooking. During cold season, the cold is blowing through the window, but air conditioner helped to warm up the place.

The room was spacious and very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast had a nice variety, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Everything felt well organized and convenient.
The hotel is a bit far from the main subway lines, which made getting around the city slightly inconvenient. Also, the walls were a bit thin, so I could sometimes hear noise from the hallway.

I got tired of Bagels, the oranges were hard, the apples were tasty but small. You had no honey and coffee was cold sometimes.

The staff was good, the front desk gal was working a double-shift.
There was a kitchenette, hot-burned, sinks, and a microwave in the room.
The hotel had a weird front door. It was NOT handicapped acceptable. The hotel appeared to be a former commercial building in that there was a HUGE pillar between the twin beds. There was a too much street noise, in the room.

We were in Brooklyn visiting a friend who is a student at Pratt Institute. This was really the only hotel within walking distance that was not overly expensive. As soon as we entered the lobby, we were greeted by a very nice clerk, who upgraded us at no extra cost to a larger room. The hotel is in a safe neighborhood, very quiet, and the room had well-functioning climate control. There is a nice grocery store just across the street, and the metro station is withing a short walk. I highly recommend this hotel !
I purchased the stay via Booking.com, and they never sent the money to the hotel - not the hotel's fault. Now I am hoping to get reimbursed, as I had to pay again. Next time, I will book directly with the hotel.

This hotel is not near a subway station. It's an inconvenient location if you are doing anything in Manhattan.
