Wonderful
Upon arrival the room had an offensive odor, but I purchased some deodorizer and sanitizer spray and the room was OK. I purchased an air fresher for the room and it was good after that. The breakfast was good it was cereal, coffee or tea, bread.

The room was very clean/comfortable and the location was convenient and safe. Authentic bagels for breakfast and an interesting part of the city to be based in.
It wasn’t possible to buy beer within 3 blocks of the hotel.

Very Good
The room was spotless and the bathroom was stocked with plenty of toiletries, including thoughtful extras like mouthwash. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable throughout my stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel is located in a Hasidic Jewish neighborhood, local businesses, and families all around. I felt very safe walking in the area, even late at night.
The only downsides were the breakfast and the location. Breakfast was quite limited, consisting mainly of fresh bagels with a small selection of spreads, plus coffee, juice, milk, and cereal. The bagels were excellent and very fresh, but I would have liked to see more variety. Also, there isn’t a subway station within a short walk, so getting to most attractions usually involves two or even three transfers on public transportation.

The manager at the front desk was super helpful , and they have only two parking spots and I paid for one - so that was THE BEST !
There were hundreds of garbage bags in the streets and side walks - and the people in this neighborhood just walk right out in front of your moving car .

Wonderful
The location was good, I could take a bus from the nearest bus stop and could reach JFK easily. (Bus, Subway and AirTrain.) Also to Manhattan it was not very complicated to reach.
A Supermarket was also very close.
I wished there were more possibilities about the breakfast.

Ok position in Brooklyn
Property looks nothing like the photos on the site. Room was dirty and hadn’t been properly cleaned for years. Kitchen in room had not plates, bowls, cups or cutlery so was pointless. Curtains couldn’t be closed so had to use a hair clip to keep them together. Tv reception awful. Shower dribbled out. Breakfast room looked like a homeless shelter.

I have stayed at the Pointe Plaza multiple times. Dora at the front desk is great, always friendly, personable, and efficient.
At times there is a lot of traffic noise and honking horns, but obviously this is not under control of the hotel.

I have stayed at the Pointe Plaza multiple times. Dora at the front desk is great, always friendly, personable, and efficient.

The room was a good size and beds were comfortable.
There was kitchen sink, units and a cook area but no plates pans bowls or cutlery for some reason.
The hotel is in an area of Brooklyn which I would not have chosen had I realized. Please do your research on where this hotel is located before booking.
