Loved how clean everything was and how much space there was to work!
I just wish the rooftop bar was open during the week. I was there on business so I wasn?t staying on the weekend to check it out.

The location and the public spaces were terrific. There are nice public workspace areas and the vibe was excellent - techies and travelers all doing their thing. The rooms are very small, so you find yourself utilizing the public spaces.
No gym in the building.

The location was excellent. A lot of space available outside of the room to hang out even though the room was very small.
Loud noise, potentially from HVAC repeatedly heard throughout the night which woke us up many times. Would have been nice to be able to stream media subscriptions to the tv.

Incredibly clean. The rooms were quiet. Very much appreciated being able to control the thermostat!

Wonderful
The way the hotel is built with the courtyards is a really big step up from Pod51. I also enjoyed the cafe/restaurant how it's open to the public, but hotel guests get 50%off. I'm sad I don't remember our concierge's name, but she was very welcoming
Compared to Pod51, i just didn't like how the toilet was in the shower

Ive stayed multiple times. The closeness to the Bedford Avenue subway station is very good, and there are a few reasonable restaurants and shops nearby.
While the housekeeping staff keeps rooms clean, one of their cleaning products has an overpowering, fruity chemical odor that lingers for days. Its distractive and unpleasant. I may need to look at my other hotel options on account of this.
The front desk staff are hit-or-miss and have been since I first came here in 2018. I am a polite customer and when I pay hundreds of dollars for my stay, I reasonably expect courtesy. When I arrived for my recent stay, I was greeted with an indirect glance and a terse Photo ID please! from a young woman who seemed annoyed being there. She needs an attitude adjustment.

Location was superb!
The deposit thingy in Hotel Pod is very unclear for European travellers. -It is not clearly stated or written in the receipt. -Customers do not really know when one is receiving the money, creating the feeling of cheating or unclarity. -ONE of the staff member was ver racist and threatened me to call POLICE on me because I just asked her to send me the invoice. ( because according to that particular staff, I was pointing finger on her which I was clearly not doing). I claim it as a racist act because there was no need for those anger and shouting to hotel customers. This was disappointing for me because generally the staffs in Brooklyn Pod are very kind and nice. But this was something beyond my understanding.
