Conveniently placed with great staff and free water (from the fridge ice maker). 24hr front desk staff was comforting.
It is nothing they can control. I just prefer bunk bed hostels with privacy screens instead of open beds

The shower and rest room was great. They were a kitchen. The shops arround and Jefferson avenue.
Who to start ? I went there 4 years ago the ambience was right. But even if now it is partially restored the youth spirit is gone. The people espacially of my room harrasted me it was impossible to sleep they hit my bed 'cause of who I am. I was awake each hour. Finally I left NYC. I believe it was because homeless were living there. And my room was an airport arrival. People do not respect nothing nowadays not even the sleep of others.

Its a hostel and not the Radisson , so as long as you're got your expectations sorted this will be an excellent stay, location was awesome, area itself is working class and vibing, I felt safe, the subway was super close, the 'cool' parts of Brooklyn super close by. We had booked a room to ourselves and the beds were comfy, inc the pillows, free coffee, drinking fountains, helpful staff and everything was clean and tidy. I'll stay again.

The art on the walls wasn't great. The particular street the hostel is on is more industrial, but you are still only a block from lots of stuff!
