Good location very near to subway. Lots of coffee and tea. Helpful staff. Super clean. Great value. Area is a lot safer than it looks!
Occasionally noisy - no fault of the hostel. Some guests need to be asked to be quiet. It’s a small issue though as people here seem to be decent and quieten down when asked. Didn’t cause much of an issue.

The location is safe. The staff was amazing and helped me a lot. The room was spacious, the bed was good and the bathroom was big, clean and modern. The facilities were cosy. Short walk to the subway and a few nice bars right around the corner.

Excellent value for staying in NYC! Staff were helpful, beds were comfortable, everything was clean and quiet. Location was good, 8 minute-ish walk to subway and 10 minutes to restaurants and bars. Stay here and you won't regret it!
Very minor quibbles that no one should let stop them from booking: there wasn't much directly next to the hostel, it took a long time for the shower to get hot, and the outlets were somewhat misplaced so it was hard to plug things in from certain beds.

it’s close to the subway, there is always coffee and tea and they helped me receiving some packages
some guys at the staff where just not so friendly. my bed was not so comfortable and the plates were all plastic and felt like they where always dirty because of the material

Great hostel, everyone was friendly and kind. Comfortable bed.
My room was near the reception, so it was noisy from time to time (new people were arriving and checking in). The air conditioner in the room was really, really loud, so you had a choice: you were either hot or cool, but it was very noisy.
