Very comfy matress in my 3bedroom
Own bathroom
More or less quiet. Thin walls and roof, but most of the guests act kind
Nice and helpful stuff
Well located with 2 different subways around
also lots of shops and restaurants
The price for what you get is really good
Towels in the kitchen would be great so you dont always have to use napkins
Maye sorting trash but dont know about the situation in new york or if its not possible because the guests wont do it

The staff were all very friendly and helpful, I for instance had reserve my stay in 2 separate bookings and realised I'd booked the wrong type dorm for a couple of days. Receptionist helped me fix it straight away and with no added fees, a service much above what I'd expect from a hostel. on top of that: great common areas, and so happy to realise there were also kitchen facilities. And there's coffee 24/7. really good value for money
room was perhaps a little dark, only has 1 window? woken up a couple of mornings by sound of contruction work outside. Clearly not in the hostels power to change much about that though. Can't really think of anything that could be changed to improve.

Super friendly and helpful staff, nice artwork, quaint room! The door to the room automatically locks as well, which made me feel safe. The courtyard was a nice touch too
Literally the only thing that makes this a 4/5 instead of a 5/5 is that the room got pretty cold at night! I stayed in early november, went to sleep with 3 layers on, and still felt the chill. I'd still stay there again, but would love if its a little warmer next time

It's my 2nd time to stay in NY Moore, I will still choose it for future trips. No bunk beds, very comfortable beds with side table and lamp. Private and clean bathroom, big lockers, about 10 minutes walk from the subway station (Montrose). Reception desk guys are very friendly and very helpful. Different sitting areas, free hot drinks and free fruits.

Great location, overall cleanliness and free coffee.
More expensive options such as 3 & 4-bedrooms are next to a construction site and faceing the street.
Hostel's "quiet hours" from 11pm-7 a.m. but plentiful
irens and bulldozer heard at 3 a.m.
Having those more expensive options located at the rear might def help sleeping better.

It was my second stay in NY Moore Hostel and I can't think about a better place to stay in New York City. Free coffee and tea all day and night is a blast, the staff is really nice and very helpful, the location is perfect - near metro station (short ride to Manhattan) and the price is reasonable. Highly recommended! :)
