The NY Moore Hostel is a neat little place, that does everything a hostel should. You can sleep, shower, and relax, all with little fuss. The staff were polite and understanding, and the facilities were clean and convenient. The lounge was nice, and provided fresh water and coffee in the mornings. The desk was staffed 24/7, making my late arrival and early departure seamless and worry free. The rooms leave plenty of space so none of the other hostel mates feel like they are intruding, even when you are trying to sleep. Overall, a wonderful place to stay for a short visit to the city.
The beds and bedding weren't 5 star, but they did accomplish the goal of being a place to sleep. I also wish the shower had at least a single shelf, or bar to place soaps or any other shower accouterments.

The place was much bigger than we expected and had a lot of common areas which was fun. Room was big and had its own bathroom.
Be prepared to commute a lot if you want to see manhattan etc. But I think distance-value is worth it

It was very convenient, you could get into the city quite easily with the L train. The staff were helpful and the people in the room gave me the space that I needed. They had a fun common area and I really enjoyed all the spaces
You get what you pay for with this one. So don’t expect anything too fancy or too comfortable, it wasn’t always the cleanest and in my room. There was a ceiling window, so it was hard to keep it dark during the mornings. I would really recommend you bringing a sleeping mask.

Rooms & Shower Definitely Could Use Cleaning. Like The Floors In The Room Can Be Swept , Shower Should Be Throughly Cleaned. No one Wants To Get Anything Behind Anyone So , Should Be Very Serious About Sanitizing The Areas

It’s a nice place with all the necessary things. Very good located, close to various subway stations and with restaurants and groceries around.
The 5 bed dorm only has one bathroom, so it makes it a little hard to use.

I liked that the staff was helpful and it was a good distance from the subway on both sides. I also liked that they offered a kitchen and living spaces.
I had a little trouble with my door and getting it to open. It felt like it was stuck and I was using a lot of force to open the door.
