Fair
Good location. Easy to reach subway from there
Quite dated, corridors were quite dirty. It looks different from the photos. Very noisy. You could hear neighbours and noises from the street.

Very Good
We came for the room with the twin beds to give my teens their own bunks. Beds were generally comfortable and space was used well in a small room.
Bathroom was large, with a big shower and separate toilet room, great for a family.
Daily housekeeping felt luxurious compared to most places these days.
Location in downtown Brooklyn gives you easy access to subway lines to take you anywhere in Manhattan. Also around the corner from the Smith Street and Court Street business strips for easy access to restaurants and stores.
We mostly drowned out the noise from the construction site across the street by running the fan for white noise, but the screeching of the backup alarms at the construction site were pretty bad on the last morning.
Provided breakfast is really basic especially at this price. The hotel should try to reimagine it.

The staff were excellent and helpful. The breakfast was good and the room was comfortable.
Our room faced a construction site that was extremely noisy starting at 6:30 AM. I wish that they had offered us a room on the quiet side of the building.

Disappointing
The service desk person at my departure who was kind enough to grant me a late check out and kept my suitcases during the day. Spacious bedroom, great location. Although I didn’t make use of it, continental breakfast was included in the price.
The price per night was higher than other much better hotels nearby. I chose one of the most expensive hotels I. The area as I wanted to ensure a stay in a nice place. The hotel interiors are of very cheap construct, the walls paint are dirty, doors etc as well. Inside the rooms you can see old air units encased with a Formica box that was chipped, the bed’s headboard was super dirty. The noise from Atlantic Ave could be heard very clearly inside the room, the noise from the corridor and above room as well. No water pressure on the shower, the tower holder fell off when I grabbed a towel. The bedsheets were very rough, rougher than IKEA’s. In general, I was very upset with myself for choosing this hotel at the price I paid for 3 nights for $1500, outrageous! The pictures at the Booking.com site do not reflect the current hotel condition.

Location was great-close to Atlantic and Smith St, close to Jay Street-Metro Tech and other subways. Not far to Manhattan.
Staff helpful and friendly.
Comfortable spacious room.
Shopping and restaurants near by. Great breakfast options (necessary since the hotel's breakfast was not good).
Beds were not good-was like I felt the springs. Pillows not great either.
Water in the shower was very cold or very hot -seemed to be after 11pm until the morning. Hotel service was wonderful-asked if we'd like to change rooms which we did not. Sent someone up promptly to check on it. It seemed to work but then when we went to use the shower later in the evening -still the same problem. We didn't complain-we adapted our habits.
Breakfast was terrible-all processed food including breads, nothing fresh except an orange or apple. No microwave, nothing hot. I can go on. it really was not good, not nutritious. I hope Nu does something about it.

Good
When we had an issue (for example, the safe in our room was not working properly when we arrived), the staff were helpful in ensuring our issue was resolved swiftly. Additionally, the location is excellent. On the corner of Atlantic Av and Smith Street, not only do you have easy access to the subway, but the immediate area has a huge variety of excellent restaurants, shops, etc.
While the hotel is pleasant enough, it has also become moderately worn down. It could use with some refurbishment.

The bed, once we got into it, was very comfortable. But, we had to crawl over a banquette to get to it! Nice towels, linens, soaps, etc. Room had everything we needed for our four night stay. Staff were very responsive. Breakfast was not a gourmet delight, but it included several protein options, which was greatly appreciated. Good location, easy to get around Brooklyn and Manhattan from there on public transportation. Only complaint, aside from the difficult access to the bed, is the lack of color in the room. Everything was either drab gray or drab brown. All the color is in the corridors.

Room -- an interior courtyard room -- was lovely.
Near the end of breakfast very little food was available. Breakfast server was not friendly.

The male coworker was very unfriendly and even rude to me and other customers. Not the type of person to deal with guests, and very convinced about himself.
