The staff was very kind. They gave us all bottled water. Our son and daugher-in-law came to chat for a few hours and they told us they could visit in our room or in the lobby. They personally welcomed them when they arrived. They were just super nice!
It was kind of old, but it was clean and comfortable.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel — everything was wonderful. It was my last night in New York, and I asked if I could get a room with a view of Manhattan, and they kindly gave me one!
The room was spacious and had everything I needed.
The breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly and welcoming.
The only thing that was a bit disappointing was that I couldn’t take my car out of the parking garage for a couple of hours without an extra charge, but I understand that this is probably typical for Manhattan.

It is close to the Brooklyn DUMBO, the bridge and best dining options. Also to several metro lines.
They should have a snack machine and fill their mini bar.
